Isn't MMT just a black and white film of them travelling around the country?

I don't understand why everyone bashes Let It Be.

I really really like that album a lot. :(

I love the first 4 tracks. The only songs I don't like are Maggie May, Dig It, and One After 909 and some are just a matter of having listened to most of the other tracks on Beatles 1(Let It Be, The Long and Winding Rd., Get Back) and getting sick of them. For You Blue and I've Got a Feeling are in the pile I like along with the first 4 tracks.

one of my fav Beatles songs is Ticket to Ride, I like all their stuff not just their early stuff or late. I can some of their songs on guitar, I wish I knew how to play One after 909, the version of the song thats on Anthology CD #1. I don't really care for the version on Let it be.
I can't stand this new music.

The Beatles movies are all great certainly some of the best movies of the 60's.
A Hard Day's Night is a classic, Help is sooo funny is one of my favorite movies of all time. Yellow Submarine is great, Magical Mystery Tour is so weird and crazy, I love it and I can't understand people who say it's supid. And Let It Be is a great documentary I watch pretty much every week.
And besides this they all have fantastic music.

I think this is one of the things that makes The Beatles the greatest the fact that had great songs and great movies.

Welcome to the forum! You picked a good thread to make your first post in.

I like Let It Be, but I find the production to be just awful. That's why I prefer Let It Be...Naked.

Actually, he had quite a few movies.

The only one I saw was Blue Hawaii or something like that.

Dozens upon dozens. He was literally forced to make them against his will, and they severly damaged his home life as well as his reputation

I can't pick. Mine [i]was[/i] While My Guitar Gently Weeps before I heard all the albums I own now. I don't think I'd be able to choose.

I'd say probably Something. But, it's hard to decide.

Yea, George Harrison did write "Here Comes The Sun", and I didn't read the question right the first time. I thought it asked for my favorite Beatles song, and I couldn't pick that.

My favorite Harrisong is "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" also.

Here Comes The Sun is definitly up there with While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
