just got home from my gf's (9 hour anniversary) home...

i just lost both games of pool to her dad(very, close games). her parents are way from strict though. they seem like really cool people. a family friend's family came over to eat, and i met him. him and her dad are hilarious!

Apparently every Tuesday from here til the end of the year we get out at 1 [as opposed to 1:50]...but I don't go 'til 1. I get out at 10:30 [as opposed to 11:13]...so Tuesdays might be cool.

YES! My Paiste 2002 18" Crash came in the mail yesterday. Unfortunately, I came home at 11:30 at night, so I could only set it up....oh, the beauty! For some odd reason it looks so much better then my other cymbals. I'll have to wait an hour before I can play it (my self-imposed curview is 10 AM to 9:30 PM, its 9 AM right now).

Pics? Not yet, wait until my setup is finished. SHould be in about a month.

It is really bright. A lot brighter then my AA 18" Medium, which surprises me because they're similar in size/weight. I guess I thought the same of my AA when I first bought it though, so I guess the ears must adjust and I need to break it in as well.

Great cymbal though.

I slept in my parents bed instead. That has got to be the most uncomfortable bed I've ever been in. It's a water bed, but it's really hard and not wavy at all. I just sank against the frame.
Then my damn cat kept getting in bed and crawling all over me, before deciding to go sit at their window and bat the hell out of the blinds.

Aha, I have a water bed, it's awesome, but at the moment the heater isn't working so I'm sleeping in the guest room. I hate moths too, I feel for you.

I also just went back to GC and got a Pearl stand for $60 (forgot what model) so I can mount my 14" Agop Trad. I had to take it off to make room for my new 2002.

I download all of the movies and music I want, I don't want to upgrade anything on my kit, and anything that I can upgrade, is too expensive.
