I saw a black on black Cabria on eBay and it was going for like £600, it said Limited Edition though so I dunno how rare they could be. Also, I have no experience with Mahogany so I dont know how good/bad it is.
Link it and I'll have a look at it.

Talos 04-13-2006 11:23 AM

Damn internet. My speed has been upgraded to a 10Meg line yet my internet is still slow, also, my router messes up at 11PM every night. It keeps disconnecting any ideas?

The Premier Goth Kit looks sweet if I could get a 13" Rack Tom in the same colours and stuff. Thats one of the problems, nowhere sells Premier by me. Thats why an Export would be good, every dealer sells Pearl and at quite good prices (The add-on toms).

PremierManiac 04-13-2006 11:49 AM

The Cabria is a good beginner kit. I suggest you buy one if you find one for a good price.

oliv_da_skinmasher 04-13-2006 11:55 AM

Woooo new laptop just came. wooooooooo

Talos 04-13-2006 11:56 AM

Undisco Kidd 04-13-2006 11:59 AM

Our school has a cabria. Not a fan.

Talos 04-13-2006 12:03 PM

Wheres Postman Pie when you need him?

Josiah 04-13-2006 12:17 PM

I just got home.. yesterday and today was my first time testifying in a court. It was interesting.. ironically very much like Law & Order, just uh a LOT more waiting.

Now to shed...

Sorry, didn't know that. Don't get a Cabria.

Premier Artist series? Pearl export is a beginners kit IMO aswell.
Damn, if they still made Tama rockstars. That was like, the perfect intermediate kit for the drummer with a low budget. Lucky i got one :) !
What bout tama superstar? They seem pretty good. I think they replaced the rockstars. Dunno the prices though.

that black cabria looks sweet.

what'd you have to testify about? Or are you not allowed to release that information?

fishbulb 04-13-2006 01:36 PM

Drum Phil 04-13-2006 01:37 PM

Talos 04-13-2006 01:37 PM

The Superstar is tempting, I was sure that was the kit I was gonna get. But then when I flamed some guy for saying that Exports are good it made me look into them and I like the look of some of the finishes.Theres too many in the price range, its just choosing the right one - TO MANIAC

Janeway 04-13-2006 01:38 PM

I used to get dragged to court with my dad when he had to deal with his plethora of speeding tickets. It sucked so bad getting to sit in the god awful wooden benches for three hours at a time.

I need to find more ska bands.

Drum Phil 04-13-2006 01:39 PM

Pespi:

Ska-P
Less than jake
Capdown
Reel big fish
Operation Ivy
Common Rider
Big Rig
Catch 22
Streetlight manifesto
Choking Victim
Mustard Plug
The hot quiche conspiracy
The Wayriders
Voodoo Glowskulls

and many more i cant be bothered to think of

I might give it a shot.

Janeway 04-13-2006 01:43 PM

I'm about 70% done getting Ska-P's discography.
And I've got Keasbey Nights. Weren't Catch 22 supposed to suck after that?

Drum Phil 04-13-2006 01:44 PM

Thats the only catch 22 album ive got. Streetlight manifesto redid it this year :)

Berk 04-13-2006 03:06 PM

Are The Distillers and or Refused a Ska Band?

Drum Phil 04-13-2006 03:11 PM

no.

Janeway 04-13-2006 03:14 PM

Ha. The Distillers.
I used to like them until I bought their first album and heard the lryic, "The only thing I suck is my man's dick." I just kind of shut my CD player off and put the disc under my bed.
I suppose it was for the better.

Berk 04-13-2006 03:16 PM

That was there second Cd, I used to love them to.
That was the era when she (Brody Dalle) was married to Tim Armstrong.
Then Coral Fang came out and it was MUCH better.
But know they are broken up and Brody had a baby with Tim Priesly.

Futuro 04-13-2006 03:18 PM

Phil nice pickup on the dragons. Those things are godlike.

Janeway 04-13-2006 03:20 PM

Eh. I forgot. Didn't their first album totally suck? Even more so than the second?

Coral Fang was kind of a fun CD, though. And it's horrible that Brody had a kid. I hope the little thing didn't get syphilis.

Berk 04-13-2006 03:25 PM

There first album was ok. ALOT of really short pieces of crap though.
The only good songs were like Blackest Years, Oh Serena, L.A Girl (First song I ever learnt on the drums).
Ever notice that every album they recorded, The people in the band were naver the same? (They got kicked out or quit).

Janeway 04-13-2006 03:28 PM

L.A. girl? Isn't that a little bit close to L.A. Woman?

But yeah. That was a little amusing.
I only cared about Brody, though. I even had a little fanclub called 'Dykes for Dalle' for a few days.
