Untitled 08-29-2006 01:03 PM

u have to wear a suit :amaze:

Jev 08-29-2006 01:05 PM

Yup, as the head of 6th form thought the dress code was getting rediculous a couple of years ago.

Mexican Bandito 08-29-2006 01:08 PM

lol!

I actually miss my school blazer and all it's secret pockets and badges :(

Untitled 08-29-2006 01:11 PM

I know, I can hide my knife in it.

Lord Abortion 08-29-2006 01:17 PM

Suits are pimp.

NP-Iron Maiden-Brighter than a thousand suns

Squirrel 08-29-2006 01:17 PM

Suits pwn.

I was so glad of my school uniform, even in 6th form.

Auberge le Mouton Noir 08-29-2006 01:21 PM

uniform does make life easier (especially on the pocket front) but there's a certain joy in strolling into school in a worn out pair of jeans and a t-shirt from tk maxx.

PAJJ 08-29-2006 01:22 PM

i hated wearing a uniform, it was brilliant rolling out of bed, throwing whatever on, and stumbling into school.

 fucking genius joke

NP Maiden - Out of the Shadows, ah this album is just getting better and better, especially since i got my stereo fixed and can play it decently rather then just on my computer.

Yeah, but I'd take uniform anyday. That way I don't have to worry about whether I have any clean trousers left and kids taking the piss out of my band shirts.

Jev 08-29-2006 01:41 PM

Yeah. I can't think of one advantage.

EDIT: Oh, I can still buy my clothes from Ladybird. That's cheaper I guess.

Really ? I'll be wearing my Iron Maiden t-shirt with pride when I go to 6th form.

Jev 08-29-2006 01:54 PM

My form tutor called my piece of mind t-shirt "piece of shit."

But then again he has really bad nose hair.

PAJJ 08-29-2006 01:59 PM

your teacher is a fool, what's his name he's going on the list, then can i borrow your munging spade :)
my maths teacher was always talking to me about maiden, priest, megadeth etc, and my art teacher loved grunge, and old school punk, one was a huge g'n'r fan she got to meet slash, i was so jealous, they were cool

2muchket! 08-29-2006 02:04 PM

My maths teacher was the biggest Pink Floyd fan boy going. My friends form tutor (who was french) loves megadeth and SOAD.

Untitled 08-29-2006 02:06 PM

my old graphics teacher was a proper punk, me and him sat in class tlakin bout bands for ages, he'd recomend me bands to check out all of the time. He was awesome.

Jev 08-29-2006 02:07 PM

My maths teacher loved ACDC, being an Aussie.
Then when we played NOFX at a gig he started singing along

Untitled you know of Adequate Seven?

Lord Abortion 08-29-2006 02:16 PM

Yeah, one of the French teachers at my school was into metal, we saw him at gigs all the time.

Jev 08-29-2006 02:23 PM

I've seen them a few times at my local place.
I never knew they were playing Leeds.

They're awesome. I think they deserve to be famous.

Untitled 08-29-2006 02:37 PM

PAJJ 08-29-2006 03:52 PM

haha, i got a bunch if people to shout ovaries instead,
i know i'm awesome

also what's that coming over the hill etc.... i have no idea why we kept singing it, it's a crap song, but i suppose people like to shout bollocks which makes little sense

Jev 08-29-2006 03:54 PM

Bollocks and Timmay, that really makes you feel like you're at a festival.

Untitled 08-29-2006 03:54 PM

Its so cool how the whole of the campsite just shouted bollocks, we could hear it geting closer, then we join it, and it was so cool

Did that happen at readin?

PAJJ 08-29-2006 03:55 PM

yeah, it happens everywhere, although when i was at donnington, it was timmy and gaybar

It sucks how there's such a large article about him whereas more important articles about some of my favourite musicians are about 4 sentences lon.

It's going to be such a mamoth live album, i can't wait to hear the legacy, the vocals in the song are just outstanding, i was just godsmacked at the "take the world to a better place...." part.

Jev 08-29-2006 05:13 PM

I feel really depressed now :thumb:

Me and a friend are having a great conversation.
