I banned a bass forum user for this one post. A user Naveed (who's Muslim but everyone mistakes him for being black) got a bunch of new basses. A user asked, "How did you pay for those?" Jody said, "Someone from TalkBass [another bass forum with lots of posters with high-class expensive equipment] woke up and found 3 of their favorite basses missing. Nav's black; of course he stole them" or something very similar to that effect.

I banned him and he still whines about it to this day.

Argh, I hate idiots. I don't even care if he sees this. He's a worthless poster who never contributes; he just whines in the casual thread.

Well, it was more the context that pissed me off being my first ban and all, plus the fact that I'd exchanged some bad words with Dfelon, then come back the next day to find I'm banned for a week old post (and we know how I post so that's not something you just stumble across :p).

Yeah, he whined about it for hours; still does. He did a few low blows, too (making fun of me for not getting into Harvard, my bad relationship with my parents, etc.).

Seriously. I love when you ban someone for blatantly breaking a rule (after many warnings, mind you; I give plenty of warnings before I ban, unless it's something drastic, like severe racism, posting graphic images, etc.) and they want to argue about it on AIM for an hour. :rolleyes:
