I think it would be nice to have a sub-forum, I think it would give the rockers a better sense of identity, but there is a community between the rockers and the metalheads, somewhat of a bond that unites us against the punks etc.

Perhaps as an alternative we should just hijack the other music or alt/indie forums

Also, there would be people arguing about bands like Tool, Primus, GnR, etc. about what forum they should go under, and whether or not it's A&I or just rock. The last thing we need is more people arguing over genres.

How do I find my old posts in here, from like november last year? I've tried to search for just my user name in the, "search this thread", but it doesn't find anything.

Another forum would be nice, honestly I never visit R&M because it's more like M(& CR thread).

There should be a subforum just for Classic Rock.

did you ever post there? i mightve asked you before. i used to until they changed to traditional forums. its actually where i picked up my jeff buckley and jeff beck obssessions, among others. they let some of their lists fall to **** though. specifically ensembles. cream was number one for a loooooong time and now theyre somewhere in the 30's.

I picked up Grace from the Other Music YSI thread. I do not regret it 1 bit. He's on a lot of the lists, number 6 in Greatest Male Performance.

yeah, isnt he 6 on male vocalists too? psh, still below steve perry though. and they put plant above chris cornell, which is ludicrous. i did enjoy posting there though, i learned a lot about music there.

Everytime this thread slows down someone brings up that time I tried to post drunk (I think I actually had smoked pot too, but I was a lot more drunk. I can assure you guys that I post high all the time and it has never affected my typing skills that horribly.) I'm actually high right now, although I think at this point of time I'm still more affected by the caffeine I had...apparently Tim Hortons gives out like cups of pure caffine, it's pretty strong stuff. They just finished re-showing the second half of No Direction Home...it was pretty awesome. The only thing I don't like about that movie/documentary (whatever) is that it never finishes any of the video clips for the songs...it always just plays bits and pieces. That's very annoying. It shows like four different clips of various performances of Like a Rolling Stone, yet it can't even show one song all the way through.

....13 Dylan albums?! I'd better check my email. Typing this went very slowly because my cat is very attracted to the mouse on the screen and watching me type...and he likes to walk all over the keyboard and he presses a lot of buttons.

I thought the documentary was pretty cool, at least from what I saw of it.
