They're pretty standard mid-paced death metal, kinda boring. From the couple albums I've heard they have a few cool riffs scattered between songs but they drag even their better songs out WAY too much to not get boring almost immediately.

Then again I'm no metal guru round these parts but I think most peeps will agree

edit: Speaking of dragged out songs, I haven't given Vital Remains a try since back in my melodeath days. Should I try them again or is it not worth it?

people on this site give em a bad rap, they do get pretty repetitious and their songs tend to drag on a bit too long but i enjoy their material

cannibal corpse are very good sometimes, vile for instance. but pretty much all of their post-2000 albums are pretty average except for maybe wretched spawn

I enjoy most of their discography, they are nothing outstanding but they aren't BAD either. I think the thing with Cannibal Corpse, for me anyways, is the whole image and not just the music.

Album is really heavy. I haven't listened it as much as KILL so I can't decide which one is better yet. Which do you like better?
