Not with twice the output or twice the talent, IMO. The Clash were something special and unique. And I don't think that is fanboyism. Because I certainly am not one of those. But to my mind, it's just the truth.

Flux = easily the best anarch-ho band. And from someone eles opinion alot of bands can beat the Clash.

There's a hip hop type thing happening where I live called Clash. So my dad is like "Hey do you want to go to this Clash thing, I saw an ad for it in the paper." So obviously I was kind of confused, seeing as Joe Strummer is dead, then I remembered that whole Tim Armstrong re-forming with the Clash, so I told my dad to get tickets. At this point I thought the Clash were coming to where I live, I didn't know it was a f'ucking rap battle.

I was flipping through the Sunday Funnies a couple days later, and saw a big ad for The Clash Rap Battle. After thoroughly banging my head on the wall I went and told my dad to get rid of the tickets, and that there was no way I was going to a rap battle.

That's what happens if you don't do your homework kiddies.

I got a white bass today like Paul.

I love those basses. It's weird cause Paul played one, Dee Dee played one, and Sid played one.

A million people played P Basses.

None of my friends like them. I think they're hot.

Ibanez sucks. Why Dee Dee, Sid and Paul all played white fenders because that was fenders main color back then.

Why does everyone hate Ibanez's? I have played one for near 3 years and I love it. I have tinkered with it a bit but I get a great sound form it.

My Jazz's tone is so much better than my old P. I get wicked string buzz on my P bass.

I can't decide which one looks better, but I've heard from a lot of people that the Jazz Bass sounds a lot better - I don't play bass so I wouldn't know.

Travis has a P-Bass special, a mix of both :cool:. J's are only good if you use the pickup furthest from the bridge. The one next to the brodge sounds like absolute **** by itself. I'm mainly guitarist... but I like a lower sounding bass.

Paul has the tone i model mine after, nice and bassy.

Its not my bass its my drummers uncles, he was gunna sale it to me for cheap. but it sucks, really bad, i dont know if typed this already, but there was no nut so the only place in town that has a nut is the wrong kinda so the action is so high, you cant fix it. and you cant move the pickups up. its so cheap.
