I would really appreciate it and might I say that I dig that outfit your wearing...really brings out the color in your eyes and your an awesome person.

Double Bass Jim 08-22-2005 10:22 PM

CaptainWaits 08-22-2005 10:26 PM

I share with you two pics of my new kit:

It doesn't look too astonishing, but the sound is great. It's a Premier Artis Series Fusion kit, with 10" and 12" toms, and a 14" floor tom that clamps to the ride. it has a 22" bass drum, and a standard snare. All the other hardware (cymbals, etc) I had from my previous Ludwig kit. It's only a 5-Piece now, but I ordered an extra 16" floor tom, which will be arriving within two months. And the best part is, the original cost of this kit was about $2500 Canadian, and I got it for $800, due to my brother being part owner of the shop I ordered it from.

Massik Kretal 08-22-2005 11:20 PM

Alright goodnight...I'n off to bed early today.

Win A Rabbit 08-22-2005 11:27 PM

dang, no partying tonight. some of them are working tomorrow, so we decided to drink tomorrow night.

tonight, we just went to a school park and played hackysack for a while (i'm terrible) and then had a shoe flinging contest which turned into a game of jackpot with flying shoes, then we all sat around and talked about random things. after a while we went to one of my friends' house and hung out there for an hour. i tried to eat 6 saltine crackers in a minute, so much tougher than i thought. my strategy was to chew like hell and force them down. i ended up coughing most of it out, and it partially clogged my throat for a while. i sounded like kermit the frog, and everyone was laughing. then when i laughed it was a mix between a kermit laugh and a high squeal, which made me laugh more.

then we watched south park, but we had to do it sneakily because his mom is really against south park. so we had to turn it off whenever we heard her get up, etc. it's really pathetic if you think about it.

well that was my night.

someone give me a type of music to make a techno song on. i've already done rap and arabian, i'm thinking either asian or country. country techno could be pretty nifty.

Juicy_Forlorn 08-22-2005 11:56 PM

^yes, country techno would be very nifty indeed

styler 08-23-2005 12:32 AM

lol i agree, country techno.

rar, im having 2 new toms made from tama itself..boo tama customer support...yay tama drums!

10'' rack tom, and a 16'' floor tom, midnight black i believe its called, star cast mountin system on the rack tom. i am so happy :D

BTW (the kit is a tama rockstar, ill post pics up soon)

rockindrummer 08-23-2005 12:39 AM

Ethan. 08-23-2005 07:50 AM

What are some good jazz bands to check out? I'm starting to like jazz more now; classic rock is getting too easy and I need another style to practice.

Well, not really too easy, just boring though. It's getting boring.

RushHourSoul 08-23-2005 07:52 AM

Check out some Miles Davis, or the album Kind of Blue.

it has to be better than stauffers (where i applied).

Ill Mitch 08-23-2005 12:57 PM

Nothing really, it just wont pay very well.

spike9908 08-23-2005 01:08 PM

ah, im going to work part time at minimum wage ($5.50), so even if i work as many hours as i can (17) after taxes i get like $70 a week (not bad, but it could be better). then after 60 days there, i get a $.25 raise.
