Okay, I have checked your posts since about midway through this month and I honestly cannot find anything that I would consider remotely offensive.

Unless the offending post has been deleted I actuall cannot see any reason why they have banned you.

And on the EUB front, have a look at the lutherie forum, i posted the problem I am having there.
IP banned, can't look at anything there.

The post might have been deleted. When my ban is up I am going to take it up with the mods there.

So i went to the Trivium show last night. My girlfriend bought me tickets for my birthday.

I had never really listened to Trivium at any point before that show, so I guess she used my birthday as an excuse for me to go see them with her.

4 Bands played. I can't remember the first one but the bands were, The sword, Protest The Hero and Trivium.

I found Trivium to be really boring musically.
The sword were awsome though.

thelowsoundofbass 10-25-2006 03:08 PM

How was protest? They are so good.

I bought their CD i while back and never gave it a full listen. Now it's in my car :p

They put on a hell of a show, the bassist was amusing to watch.

When he was testing the mics, he called us all a bunch of pot smoking hippies.

I would do that.

I prefer this forum in that it is always a lot more friendly and people seem to be more willing to help.

I find talkbass to be more "snobbish" but they do have a great repository of knowledge in its members when they do decide you are worth helping.

One Groovin Clown 10-25-2006 03:14 PM

These forums seems alot more personal than TalkBass.
I feel intimidated there. It's full of very knowledgable bassists.
Plus we get avatars without paying, so it's easier to recongnize whom.

Talkbass is a lot more snobbish, but it has a ton of knowledge. It really sucks because I just posted a question in the setup forum that I really wanted answered. This place is a lot nicer, but there are the elitists here as well, unfortunately the elitists that are here usually don't know very much about what they are talking about.

Ok - for a lecture tomorrow I'm supposed to have come up with half a dozen logos/designs for a product I will be advertising. Since I like to make my assignments relevant and useful, I'll be advertising my own EP.

I don't HAVE an EP yet, but I have enough to make it look like I do, and hopefully soon I'll be ready to actually put one together. And when the time comes, perhaps I'll be able to use this project.

But the point is, which of these do you fine people prefer? They're only rough mockups, so don't knock the photoshopping. :p

You have too many w's in your URL.

And I like "Posthuman 7" the most, but I don't care for the jagged-ness of the font.

WM I liked 1 and 6. What program are you doing that with?

lowsound

Wintermute 10-25-2006 03:38 PM

Haha...

http://www.subsonicsound.co.uk/uploads/logos.zip

And they were all done in photoshop.

Personally I lean towards 6 and 5. The figure on 5 is one of my girlfriend's rougher sketches.

One Groovin Clown 10-25-2006 03:39 PM

5 and 7 do it for me.

I want photoshop, problem is that I have to find a mac version. I would go with 6.

irishslappop 10-25-2006 03:41 PM

i like 1 and 5 the best.

1 because i feel that the static is representative of the whole "post human" thing. if its post humanity, there will be static.

and 5 basically because its a good drawing.

e p 10-25-2006 03:49 PM

5 because its a good drawing and the most quirky/less pretentious of the options

The Brad 10-25-2006 03:51 PM

douche

Jimbobntnr 10-25-2006 03:52 PM

I would go with 1 and 5.
6 is workable, but I think that the resolution needs to be higher on the foreground posthuman.
7 screams "neo-Madonna techno" to me.
I think the gradient is too harsh on 3.
I like the idea of 4, but it seems like it is just a part of something, something's missing.

The Brad 10-25-2006 03:53 PM

Jonly, do you want that J-Retro?

Jimbobntnr 10-25-2006 03:54 PM

Yes, yes I do. What's it sitting at now?

I'll do $140 for j00 papi. Taco flavored kisses for my Ben.

Not a keygen, but a sheet with keys.
