You're blatantly pro-wal-mart if you're buying from there.

Stealing from friends is the way I get most of my paints and stuff.

Also, Home Depot.
not exactly, thats like saying if you are addicted cigarettes, then you are blatantly pro-smoking. but what if you wanted to quit cigarettes and hated them but cant?

have you ever seen that one episode of south park with the "wall-mart"?
I'm sure Home Depot is much better.
:(
because I sew a lot and thrift stores don't usually sell fabric paint, and I never said I was pro walMArt I just said that there's not that many ways around it and I never said I wanted pants..... I have some pants on right now
fabric stores also sell fabric paint, so do all the "mom and pop" hobbie stores i have ever been to... you know those "mom and pop" joints that that wal-mart is puting out of buisness... if they aren't already...

Its the truth I'm addicted to walmart.....

And they are all out of buisnees poor mom and pops

Aus Rotten 09-25-2005 08:22 PM

I bet there's plenty of craft stores/etc. that sell exactly what you need. It's called effort.

skinnedmonkey 09-25-2005 08:24 PM

Its called, I was already at WalMart cause my mom needed groceries or something.... and I looked at some other places first they were all out

Potatoe 09-25-2005 08:49 PM
Its called, I was already at WalMart cause my mom needed groceries or something.... and I looked at some other places first they were all out
it is still called effort, ask one of the sales clerks if they can special order you some(many joints wont charge extra on special orders on things that they carry, but are out of), or ask when the next shipment will come in.

even if you dont realise it, you make a statement with where you spend your money. Yes wal-mart has every fuckin' thing ever made under the sun within their doors, but that convenience costs many people their dreams/jobs/sense of hope... i suggest you learn more about the store that you are lending your patronage to, before you continue shoping there..

and quit defending your self with lies, they're a flimsy defence at best and many people loose their respect for you when they see through your lies..

now decide: They all went out of busines OR I went to a few, but they were out of the product i was looking for...

ponce

Well I went to some smaller stores that aren't mom and pop or whatever, like hobby loby and stuff, but all the reall small ones are gone, well theres not much here in the middle of nowhere anyways

Brain Toad 09-25-2005 09:55 PM
so, its not like the wal-mart is in my community its like half an hour away, and where else do they sell things for all my diy needs? and not the internet, I mean localy.....
You're still killing the community where it is located. Wal Marts are leeches that should be avoided at all costs.

You can go to a lot more places to get this stuff. Try craft stores, even tiny communities have at least one craft store. Even Michaels is better then Wal Mart.

Put in some effort and you can get this stuff. If you aren't going to bother making the effort, then why do DIY in the first place, just buy your stuff premade like everyone else.

DaveToopes 09-26-2005 01:54 PM
whats a good way to make a stencil if u dont have a printer?
Just do it freehand.

Skidmark Steve 09-26-2005 02:11 PM

im sure this has been asked several times in here. but how do you make your own t-shirts? like if i were to make a design on the computer how would i get it onto a t-shirt. please include materials, step by step process...

i cant afford real t-shirts.... :upset:

DaveToopes 09-26-2005 02:28 PM

Would you want to paint the shirts, or use an iron-on design?

Skidmark Steve 09-26-2005 02:33 PM

iron on

DaveToopes 09-26-2005 02:46 PM

Hmm, I've never done iron on, only paint.
Stealing from friends is just as not punx as wal-mart.
Borrowing from semi-friends?

Rise Me Up 09-26-2005 03:01 PM
iron on
Iron ons are easy as f'uck. You can get them at Wal Mart (yes, f'ucking Wal Mart, I could care less how punX you are) 6 for 7 dollars, and you print it onto, but you have to print it off backwards, with irfan view.

You can buy a "Set" from most Arts and Crafts store, It comes with the iron on paper, and a program. Its alot of fun, I made a bunch shirts for a friends band useing this.. but i cant recall how much it cost.

OI! to the World! 09-26-2005 03:14 PM

You can also go to Michaels or any other craft supply store or even an office supply store to get the same thing and not support Wal Mart
how do you print it off backwards? and can you print that special paper on any printer?
Most come with a program that will reverse the image for you, and any printer should be able to use the paper, as long as its not really thick, which they usually aren't.

Flagjacket 09-26-2005 04:24 PM

Or like, you know, use MS Paint to flip the image...

skankthenspank 09-26-2005 04:50 PM

Skidmark Steve 09-26-2005 04:55 PM
