Apocalyptic Raids 11-24-2005 07:40 PM

It's running slow for me, but I have Soulseek running too.

GenuineImitation 11-24-2005 07:41 PM

I meant slow as in, not a lot of people posting. My page loaded in a few seconds.
I am with you on this one, except turkey is alright but nothing special. Last few years we just had a load of tacos instead of traditional food.

This year, my parents bought a premade turkey :

Why would you take a picture of your turkey?

Haha, I think I never ate turkey in my life.

I changed me avatar..You guys like it ?

I like snowboarding. Last time I did was a few years ago though..

I dont celebrate realy thanksgiving day. Lame excuse I know...But maybe I have and just dont remeber it. When I was small, I considered everything to be chicken. So maybe I ate it and thought it was chicken or something.

blue3 11-24-2005 08:10 PM

Okay then.

What the hell.. I just saw a black cat in my house. I don't own any pets.

Shadows 11-24-2005 08:15 PM

You should. I love cats. And we all know that everyone should do the things I love, regardless of whether or not they like it.

blue3 11-24-2005 08:28 PM

oic. I like cats. My sister hates them so I can't get one.

And the black cat was apparently my neighbours. I don't know how it got in my house.

Shadows 11-24-2005 08:31 PM

Feed it. The cat will never want to leave. This is especially good if you want to spite your neighbors for something.

Shred Danson 11-24-2005 08:33 PM

Cats are so friggin' stupid, I swear. It's like they're planning something like your demise....they're so quiet and shit.

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-24-2005 08:39 PM

My grandma recently acquired a cat. She hadn't named it yet, so tonight, I dubbed it "Lloyd." It's the perfect name for that cat because it's just this fat, boring, angry cat.

Shadows 11-24-2005 08:40 PM

I have two cats. One is morbidly obese, the other is diabetic. I'm a legend around my school because everyone thinks my cats are so awesome.

Hahahahaha! Dude, that's pretty funny :)

I had a cat two years ago. All it did was sleep and mark its territory around our house by pissing on laundry and stuff. Man did that suck... :upset:

Illmatic 11-24-2005 08:48 PM

Cats are assholes. Dogs all the way.

/me has two dogs

so we sat down to Thankgsiving dinner at around 4. We just finished.

Shadows 11-24-2005 08:50 PM

Dogs piss me off. Constantly. I'd get a puppy - they're so cute. Then, once it grew into a full-size dog, I'd trade it in for another puppy.

Dr. Jake Destructo 11-24-2005 08:55 PM

I've got two dogs, Tanna and Shelby, and three cats, Sgt. Pepper, Oompa, and Loompa.

Cain 11-24-2005 08:58 PM

I have two cats and they suck. They were both feral (i.e. born and caught from the wild) and so one of them has resisted domestication to the point where he has not let a single member of my family touch him in the year we've owned him. The other lets you pet him sometimes but most of the time he runs away too.

The only cool thing about them is that they look like creamsicles, so we named them Ben and Jerry.

I'm a dog lover though. The dog we had before was a border-collie and really smart and kind. His name was Tucker. Unfortunately he got run over about two summers ago. :( That was a really sad time.

I ate Thanksgiving dinner around 1:30. My family's weird.

Shadows 11-24-2005 09:01 PM

We were suppsoed to eat at 1:00, but I slept in a while longer then I expected so we were delayed until 2:30.

We started eating at about 4:30.

There was a case in Australia, down south, about 3 months ago, where the legend of gigantic feral cats was proved true, supposedly.

You see, so many cats have escaped since we were first colonised that many people claim mysterious kills (similar to the way a panther or other big cat kills) was due to these feral cats, which have slowly grown larger in this enviroment.

Anyways, this bloke was hunting pigs with a shotgun, and he ran across this huge shadow that suddenly leapt at him. He shot it, and then checked to see what it was.

Turns out he shot a black cat, with the appearance of a tabby, and the size of a great dane. They're doing DNA tests and the like, to see if it is a fake.

Amazing if it isn't though.

Shadows 11-24-2005 09:06 PM

Sounds amazing either way.

I can't believe you banned me.

Sounds rather like the New York City urban legends of giant sewer rats (which are true) and the ones about the pet alligators that got flushed down the toilet when they got too big and have grown to enormous proportions in the sewer (which aren't really true but which have spawned many a bad movie).

If THIS is true, though, then that is indeed quite neat.

Heh. Another interesting fact. There is more people living in the City of New York than reside in all of Australia.

However, the government of Australia has more money.

New York is still great. If a little dirty.

The thing I hate is the fact that I was born there, and lived there for the first years of my childhood, and yet retain none of the mythical knowledge of the city's idiosyncracies or the accent that are requirements for being a bonafide New Yorker.

Bah, move to Australia. There's only 2 accents, and it's clean air, bright skies and fresh greenery all year around.

I think New Jersey accents are cool. I don't think Californian's really have an accent aside from the stereotypical "Bra, like whats up dude?" accent, which none of us have. (Except for the stoner/surfers)

Believe me, it's top on my list of preferred vacations-to-places-I've-never-been.

I'm unsure if I would want to live there though. What's it like in terms of social culture? Any different customs from America, or things like that?

There's nothing to Ohio either, except we are consistently undecided about who we want for president, yet still managed to churn out more then any other state.

Given my disinterest of politics, I'd say I'm pretty unexcited about my home.
