Also, I want to do the cover thread thing. Just tell me what song, and if I haven't heard it, I'll check it out, and learn it.

jpj 06-07-2005 10:11 PM

I really wish I had a mic so I could do that cover thing.

wanton 06-07-2005 10:11 PM
Wanton, I hope Lunch will respond to your request, because my computer is quite slow. Plus, I gave him the album; payback is necessary. :p
Eh, it's no rush. :)

I'd be satisfied with just trying to record something, but that even seems unlikely.

JonG 06-07-2005 10:18 PM

Let's do Friend of the Devil. Easy enough :) I can play that song. Weir and Garcias part..

Or Sugar Magnolia.

Badmoon 06-07-2005 10:19 PM

"Sugar Magnolia" would be hard. I have yet to find a site that offers correct tabs to it (Though I myself know the song). "Friend of the Devil" maybe, but I'm not to excited about it.

(IMO)

Walrus Gumboot 06-08-2005 08:33 AM

I lack the technical equipment to record. I really should invest in it though, it would be cool to record different tracks so I can do put them together and have whole songs, I could do guitar, bass, drums, harmonica, ukulele, trombone, piano and vocals on my own

I would really love to do Friend of the Devil. Maybe I can find someone with the equipment to record the bassline

Magicbus- you should definatly pick up harmonica. It will only put you back around 10 bucks and its pretty easy to learn

BassMasterMike88 06-08-2005 08:37 AM

If theres a bass part needed i'd be happy to do it.

Use it to record a song that will get you a full scholarship

BassMasterMike88 06-08-2005 09:02 AM

I was hoping my band would make college unessicery but thats not gonna happen.

Badmoon 06-08-2005 11:46 AM

We could do more than one song, keep in mind.

Do you know how to use them? :p

ATM 06-08-2005 11:49 AM

I'd help with something, if you guys need me. Either playing some lead, or holdin' down the rhythm.

Badmoon 06-08-2005 11:50 AM

Everyone should play a role.

ATM 06-08-2005 11:51 AM

Let's do Don't Fear the Reaper, and I'll play cowbell.

thickasabrick 06-08-2005 12:42 PM

Badmoon did you post a Grateful Dead album?

edit- and we have a new drummer, everything will turn out fine..hopefully. I'm pretty excited.

JonG 06-08-2005 12:44 PM

thickasabrick 06-08-2005 12:45 PM
How can you send whole albums at once through yousendit?
Do you have winZIP or winRAR? If you don't, than you have to download it.

Download WinZip > Select the files > Right-click and move your mouse over "WinZip" > choose "Add to Zip File..."

Badmoon 06-08-2005 02:30 PM

From The Mars Hotel finished very fast; get it the Other Music YSI thread.

Rush--WorkingMan 06-08-2005 03:15 PM

Guys i have every AC/DC song (if you care). I love Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, and Kiss.

YDload 06-08-2005 03:18 PM

Hello Classic Rock fans :)

Can anyone tell me what band this is? I found this unlabelled image and I think you might be able to help me out. The six-person group would indicate that it's probably one of the bands from the early 70s when such numbers were common. They might have had a third guitarist or a keyboardist in addition to the usual five-piece band.

Who might this be?
