Ehhh, Coke = too addictive and harmful. I'm a stoner but I have my limits. But I'm also not one to judge, especially since I havent experienced it.

That story was really weird. It was like this guy got money from is uncle's will but it was like 1000 dollars and the guy was pissed because it wasn't much money and he had to record how he spent it. Since he didn't like record keeping he gave it to this lady and said like he loved her or something. Then he gave the record to the uncle's lawyer and the lawyer said if he spent it well and not in selfish ways then his uncle told them to give him 50,000 dollars and if he didn't then they were to give it to the lady he gave the 1000 dollars to. Then once they told him that the guy ripped up the sheet that said what he spent it for and just walked away.....

Well, I'm not addicted to coke. I have friends who are, but I'd never go further than doing weed regularly, and I can't even afford that at the moment. I just got home tonight and found a couple of old baggies with powder still in the bottom, and decided to eat it. It tastes wierd, as only something like that can. I do feel pretty buzzy now though.


But stay off the hard stuff, kids. Coke is a waste of money for the high it gives you. I have never spent a penny on it myself - find a gullible mate who you can scab off, or don't do it at all.

I never plan on doing anything other than weed and I hope that I don't I do smoke cigarettes ocasionally but I am not addictive I just like to smoke one once in a while.

I'm torn on whether or not to actually declare edge though, just because of the fact that people either won't know what it means, or will think I'm a poser. I don't care what anyone thinks, but I don't want the attention either. I fully believe in the ideas of Straight Edge though.

I rarely leave this forum, but I like quite a few people around the rest of MX as well. There are a lot of good users who hang out in the other forums as well.

Just be yourself, I say. You don't have to be edge to not do drugs. I do think edge kids are a bit poserish, because at the end of the day it's just saying 'look at me, I don't drink or do drugs, I'm better than kids who do'. You can do those things without having to announce it to the world, and I think that's far more respectworthy.


As far as the first statement goes, it's mostly for fun. Most drugs don't mess you up as much as people try to have you believe, as long as you exercise a sensible amount of self-control and restraint, and it's just a different way of having a good time. I have done most drugs, and they are all just a good laugh. It's not like I need to take something to have fun, which is a common fallacy, it's just that I'm open to different ways of having a good time. That's about the easiest way of describing it I am capable of, as I am a man who's not great at explaining things or expressing myself.

This is the most important line here. I'm not saying it in unjustified defence of myself or anything I do, it's just true. I am not killing myself.

Well yeah, and this is why you have to be sensible. You can get away with doing a lot to yourself until about your mid-20's because your body can still repair itself, as long as you don't go OTT. This is why I'm happy to do small amounts of most stuff you can mention (not acid or heroin though, no no) because I don't overdo it, and I know it won't seriously screw me up long-term.
