Im not too sure about this but you eventualy die a painful death. You vomit your internal organs. You get rashes and briuses ect.But like I said, Im not very sure of this. I just know its along those lines. Its very rare someone doesnt die from it.

It's not that interesting.

Just fever like symptoms, following up with severe stomach cramps / diarrhea, Internal Bleeding, and other such things.

I meant that the name "flu" doesn't conjure the same fear as words like rabies - maybe because we've all had it at some time or other. Also the phrase has become so mis-used; loads of people are always saying they've got "flu" when they've got a bit of a nasty cold. It's been debased.

This is very true. We hear about "the flu" every ear. Most people contract some form of "the flu" every year. We've become kind of used to hearing about it all the time, but when we hear "Bubonic plague," we freak out. Now that I think about it, I think that with today's technology and such, a bubonic outbreak wouldn't have as big of an impact as it did in the past. What I'm saying is that influenza has the potential to be just as dangerous as any other disease, but as a whole, we don't really consider it a threat.

Viral mutations happen all the time. The common cold mutates everytime you catch it. A lot of the SARS debacle is echoing through into the Avian Flu debacle.

Of course the "experts" claim we're due for a plague that will wipe out 3/4 of the population of the world. If they don't make stupid claims like this, they could be out of a job.

I hate this holiday. The food is ok, but I really don't enjoy it.
I'm almost done with christmas shopping...huzzah!! I hate christmas crowds, so I always try to start early.
I'm going on a cruise on sunday!! Royal Caribbean....and I'm going to Mexico! If I get some good pictures, I'll show you guys.
I haven't had a whole lot of time to come on here....that kinda sucks. You all have probably forgotten who I am. haha. I don't blame you.
Just felt like seeing the old crowd...and not being stuck at my family's house right now...raging with male adolescent teenage hormones, chats about stupid ****ing myspace and watching The Simpsons. Actually...watching The Simpsons is probably the highlight of my day.
