There was this guy on Last Comic Standing that my parents were watching.

He might've been funny, but his delivery sucked. He was like "Umm, uhh" way too much, and waited too long. I don't see how he made it to the finals =/

Yeah, thats what I hate in death metal personally, gorguts is just so avante garde and technical and...etc, that I can ignore the vocals.

I like death metal vocals a lot. Or atleast I like John Tardy's voice.

I loved Strangers With Candy. I didn't watch it when it was first on, but I've seen all of the episodes when they would have them on at like 2 am. Comedy Central was great back then. The only really good shows they have now are Reno 911, Southpark, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report.

Mad Tv is alright sometimes, but rarely. But its basically all they show until nighttime.

They used to do the same thing with SNL, and I like Mad TV a lot better than SNL.I hate that they always have to feature the host in every single sketch of SNL, they have a crappy band play three times, and they have 12 minute commercial breaks.
And the sketches aren't even funny half the time.

What happened Phil?

It can not have been as bad as one band I saw play a couple of weeks ago. Grown men trying to play death metal and failing horribly. A metal band of teenagers came on after them and wiped the floor with them.

And the first band's drum solo... :rolleyes:

Anyway.

For no reason we just kept screwing up. The levels were off so that could have contributed to it but i think our drummer was nervous after the first band had an awesome drummer.

He was playing faster bass than anyone ive seen and he was only using a single pedal.
