I wish I had that G on my seven. What's really cool that I noticed when I play it is that I tend to switch between slapping styles on it. Like, I'll slap a part of a song how I normally do (sort of Wooten-ish) and then slap the next part with my thumb pointing up. Really cool.

I hate how prices of music gear is so inflated here.

For $1000AU, I should be able to buy a bass that's about $700US. This is not the case, however - $1000AU converts to about $500US when buying music gear.

Should be good nonetheless - $1000 is a big step up from the $300 I paid for my current bass.

It is really. The conversion rate it about 70c American for every Australian dollar, but all prices are inflated, so it ends up being the equivalent of about 50c American for every Australian dollar.
