Internal Affairs - Casualty Of The Core 7" on clear
Gorilla Biscuits - ST 7"
Fortunate Son - ST 7" on clear green
Pride Kills - ST 7" on clear red
My Luck - Cleaver 7" on clear red

Those are up for grabs. I'd prefer trade but if you really just want to buy then I'd probably be down for that.
Remember that time you said I could have the My Luck vinyl for free? Dick.
By the way, Texas currently ****s all over California right now purely because of Iron Age and Bitter End. Aside from Set Your Goals, Eaten Alive, and a few others, California basically has a lot of crap.
Yo man, you got good tastes and you're cool and everything, but if you honestly thing that there's only a handful of good California bands then you're pretty ridiculous.

That Mess in the West show is in Sacramento.

mikexmcdaniel 06-13-2006 09:29 PM

Knuckleheadz 06-13-2006 09:30 PM

You have found your calling. It is your destiny to find that out by whatever means the situation calls for. Godspeed young master.

Knuckleheadz 06-13-2006 09:40 PM

Just for fun, you only have until 8:33 to IM me or else I won't send it. And you can't ask anyone else on MX, that's no fun.

Lazybassplr56 06-13-2006 09:43 PM

Search deep into the threads.

Jersey's Best Dancer 06-13-2006 09:43 PM

I asked this in the punk forum, but it's starting to get to me. If you had the choice between these 2 shows, which would you choose: Paint it Black, The Loved Ones and Cloak & Dagger OR Adolescents, Street Dogs, The Vaccancies. In the punk forum, it was more towards street dogs and adolescents cause I guess they are more punk oriented. I figured since PIB and Adolescents are both hardcore bands, i'd get a better response in here.

Let's Chop Cats! 06-13-2006 09:45 PM

PIB/C&D show.

NewKindofArmy03 06-13-2006 09:47 PM

Come chill and see PiB.

Knuckleheadz 06-13-2006 09:49 PM

Adolescents are not a hardcore band.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-13-2006 10:04 PM

PiB and THE LOVES ONES for sure

On the topic of CAvsTX, yeah there's a million semi-hyped Cali bands but none are really stand-out to me. Quality not quantity
You lived here for a few months, I've lived here my whole life. The OC is beautiful but the IE isn't nearly as bad as you kids make it out to be. stfu.
Hahah I lived there for nearly 2 years.

And yes, the IE is as bad as people make it out to be.

faith and fiction 06-13-2006 10:46 PM

Oh and Crime In Stereo ruled tonight

But f'uck a Gorilla Biscuits cover when you get a Trial cover from Balls Out.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-13-2006 10:53 PM

I thought CiS had the weakest set of the night last night.

Special Brew 06-13-2006 11:20 PM

Speaking of PiB...

http://www.hopperpr.com/bands/PIB%20Port%2003.jpg

Is it just me, or is Andy a crotch stuffer, and Dan a closet homosexual?

I was being a jerk.

Haven't heard any of the bands you listed... I'll check them out eventually.

Best music right now is coming from VA, MD, DC, PA.

BuddyBigsby 06-14-2006 01:48 AM
Are they still together. Tell them to come to L.A. and play some shows.
They're probably done. Their guitarist quit and they can't find another one/they're not going to find someone who writes as good as him.

BuddyBigsby 06-14-2006 01:56 AM
Hahah I lived there for nearly 2 years.

If you honestly think its the butthole of California and that its a desert, then you're either talking out of your *** or you've only been to Riverside and the parts of the IE Northeast of that. Ever been to Barstow? Victorville? San Bernadino County has more ****ty places than it does nice places, but maybe that's because it extends to the Nevada border and is the largest county in the state. Chino isn't bad, Rancho isn't bad, Montclair isn't bad, Claremont is beautiful, Pomona's ok if not a little sketch.

PS Huntington Beach is pretty much a second home to me and has been for (once again) my whole life. Santa Ana is a dump. Anaheim is a dump except for Disneyland and the stadiums.

RetiredAt21 06-14-2006 05:46 AM

Anaheim is mad hood.

Links, I live in Baltimore but can only find a handful of hardcore that isent complete shit. Don't mention Ruiner or xlookingforwardx.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-14-2006 10:13 AM

Well this is weird, everyone seems to think where they live is the best.

Special Brew 06-14-2006 10:17 AM

I don't. I live in a literal shithole

40 oz 2 freedom 06-14-2006 10:18 AM

You literally live in a shithole?

Special Brew 06-14-2006 10:20 AM

Yep. That's all East Kentucky is. One big, smelly cesspool.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-14-2006 10:30 AM

Well that sounds gross.

I don't, I think it's good and deffinetly in the Top 5 between DC and Baltimore but not the best.

TEXAS

Iron Bug 06-14-2006 11:06 AM

I agree.

Tjebby 06-14-2006 11:12 AM

Iowa? Best? I think not. I mean, we're just getting the pop-punk/emo scene here. Shameful.

And Shane or Pat, did Balls Out play a little riff thing they made up for no reason? They posted a myspace bulletin about it.

40 oz 2 freedom 06-14-2006 11:15 AM

I saw the bulletin, but I went to the show in Austin, Shane went to Dallas where Balls Out played.

Tjebby 06-14-2006 11:20 AM

Ahh. My bad. didn't realize.

form 06-14-2006 12:38 PM

I don't usually post here, so I'm not sure if this should go here but,

I have the leak of the new Bury Your Dead-Beauty And The Breakdown

So if you want it, post your aim, and I can give you a YSI link I put up.
