Bad luck Jason...

I remember exams and such - would not want to go there again.
I did a Management Accounts exam whilst stoned once - I failed.
But it was all good, cos I'd have failed anyway, but that way I didn't care!

Counting down to a free weekend....yay

NP some awful local radio station (at work)
At least you get the internet at work. I have nothing but a register and little old ladies.

Though I guy who is the spitting image of Lemmy comes in to get milk and pies all the time.

EDIT: When Peter was riding a donkey, and was hit by a rock, don't say he was stoned off his ass.

All we need to do is get all US MXers to adopt UK swearwords

arse, bugger, wanker - good examples of great words that MX swear filter doesn't pick up!

Go English swearing!

Ooops - well bugger my arse, I'm a forgetful wanker - I forgot "twat"
One of my faves, that

Riva 11-24-2005 04:46 AM

You might have invented them, but Australia made them great.

Kronos 11-24-2005 04:50 AM

Ha ha! I agree - no-one can swear like an Aussie - the accent was specifically designed by God himself for that purpose!

PS - How do you do that multiple quote in one post thing? I don't know how to (like the one above your last)

the2stranger 11-24-2005 04:51 AM

good morning!

I'm awaiting a call from my GF, so I know what time to pick her up.

nothing much happened, except that I just ate a gigantic sandwich....yes I said sandwich
it was good, but i'm still hungry.

and I've got no music playing, gottta fix that problem.
/just got back from the Cob/Trivium/Amon Amarth show

The large amount of stupid Trivium/new Children of Bodom fans had ruined the show, as the place was packed to the lid full of 14 year old kids for the most part.

Amon Amarth slayed, that is all that matters though.

Taco Bell is also one hell of a way to finish off a night heh.

NP - Autumn Leaves - Revolution 21
I had no doubt about Amon Amarth's slaying qualities, too bad about the 14 year old fanboys for Trivium and COB though :-/

What songs did AA play?

Riva 11-24-2005 04:51 AM

Just copy and paste your first quote into your second.

I merged 'em for you to make the page neater. :)

Twat is a great word

/Christmases it up.

Kronos 11-24-2005 04:56 AM

I'll try that next time I need to reply to two posters in one go. I'm sure I have tried it before tho', and I didn't get those nice little dark boxes round the quotes.

They opened with An Ancient Sign of Coming Storm, then went right into The Pursuit Of Vikings. They then played Releasing Surtur's Fire, Down The Slopes of Death and then For The Stabwounds In Our Backs. They then ended up the set with the epic yet simple Death in Fire.

Short, but still killer set. wish they had played Victorious March though...

And Johan kept drinking some mead from his horn, very viking like heh.

Then that saying makes no sense.

Ah well...

Must look into some Amon Armarth
they sound awesome just by the song titles...

of course you should look in to Amon Amarth.

try Persuit of Vikings, Beheading Of A King, Vs the World, or Victorious March for starters :)

You have never heard Amon Amarth?!

Along with those songs 2stranger just mentioned, get Death In Fire. Epic to say the least.

Lord Abortion 11-24-2005 05:51 AM

Unfortunately not, just one of those bands I haven't got round to hearing yet.
they're now really near the top of the list though.

superpeer 11-24-2005 07:42 AM

Amon Amarth are great. The singer thanked us in Dutch once in a while. "Daaankjewel"

Then he drank out of his horn and said "Jupiler". (Belgian Beer) :D

I don't regularly do that though. I don't have class until 4pm. :( Not particularly looking forward to it either, poetry until 6pm is usually not that pleasant.

Five songs does seem quite short. Depends on the lengths of the songs, I suppose.
I'll have to get a full album though. Bubblegum is the best, Correct?
