I think I need to get some stuff by them just for the name.
The vocalist sounds like a frog croaking, but that's by the by, they're a very good band, and great live when I saw them.

2muchket! 08-22-2006 01:55 PM

^^^Can't be any worse than Matt Heafy's Pig grunting can it ?

Jev 08-22-2006 01:58 PM

Matt Heafy doesn't pig grunt he whines.

2muchket! 08-22-2006 02:00 PM

D'you think ? I would of always classed it as more of a grunt

Jev 08-22-2006 02:02 PM

Well. I'm going on what I've heard live.
Anyone can sound decent in the studio.

2muchket! 08-22-2006 02:12 PM

I take it your not a fan then

Lord Abortion 08-22-2006 02:24 PM

Trivium are really gay, and in no way shape or form can anything that Heafy does be classed as "Growling"...I'm not complaining about PD's vocalist, it just took a little time to get used to.

ChodaBoy 08-22-2006 02:26 PM

I like Trivium, but they are horrible live

2muchket! 08-22-2006 03:01 PM

I don't mind a bit of Trvium Pull harder on the Strings.... and Departure are pretty good but heafy can't do the vocals live and the guitar solos are prone to sound relly sh!t.

Darthsarahmus 08-22-2006 05:15 PM

ATTN UK BANDS! the international taste of chaos tour has started a battle of the bands. There are like 7 Uk dates that bands can enter to play. This is for unsigned bands only.

Lord Abortion 08-22-2006 06:56 PM

Dosvidanya Jevi, have you been at Josef's Vodka again?

Patrick O))) 08-22-2006 07:09 PM

'sup

Lord Abortion 08-22-2006 07:15 PM

Hey Patalan.
How's shizz?

Is it just me or are the lyrics on Pork Soda pretty depressing?

Patrick O))) 08-22-2006 07:40 PM

Aye, Pork Soda's really dark. Even the title track, which is about having a drink of Pork Soda and relaxing, becomes very sinister in contrast to Bob

Anywho's, bought Hitman: Blood Money yesterday, so I've been playing that and working. My parents are away, but I'm at work all the time anyway so I can't get up to any mischief :(

Lord Abortion 08-22-2006 08:28 PM

hellos threados

results tomorrow - im gonna have to go in to get them cus i need em for Friday, an' my dad don't think there gonna be sent home for tomorrow.

 can't listen to music cus we just had our front door painted an' it needs to be left open so i have to listen out to hear when were gettin aburgeled

Jev 08-23-2006 05:18 AM

I'm starting to worry about music now, heh. If I get a D or below it will be disappointing but I knew it was coming.

jpshortstuff 08-23-2006 05:25 AM

i guess music is the only subject i genuinly care/worry about grade/wis. although im doing maths next year i know i've got an A*(i just know) and computing doesn't need anything. i know music tech doesn't need any grades in music GCSE to do but i still want a decent grade so i can think "hey i do know some stuff and im not going to die this year". its a self-confidence thing i guess.

Jev 08-23-2006 05:27 AM

No matter what my grade in music is in GCSE, I'm going to get at least a B in A level music.

PAJJ 08-23-2006 05:30 AM

Stop worrying you guys will all do fine.

jpshortstuff 08-23-2006 05:31 AM

go you

my theory isnt up to A level music standard, so opted for m.Tech. i went along to the music class at this preperationtype day and there was a little theory test so we could see what it was like. it was hard.
Stop worrying you guys will all do fine.
thanks dude.

Jev 08-23-2006 05:33 AM

What was in this theory test thing?
Stop worrying you guys will all do fine.
Cheers :)

jpshortstuff 08-23-2006 05:39 AM
What was in this theory test thing?
stuff like meanings of italien words, using/converting between several different clefs (like the tenor, which idk for shit), some similar stuff to GCSE listening exam - but harder. they said aroung grade 5 theory is what you'll need. i'd guess im about grade 3 by this book (music theory grades 1-5) i got.

Jev 08-23-2006 05:49 AM

Oh, I'm alright at that stuff.
