Thanks...on another note im looking for an overdrive pedal...im looking for the kind of overdrive sound such as on the album Tool - Opiate. Anyone have any ideas?

Check out the Boss ODP1, Digitech Bass Driver, and an Ibanez Phat-head. Those will give you a huge range distortion wise, though I recommend you check the construction og the Ibanez out before you buy it.

Ibanez pedals don't look good to me.
Just the style and the way it's built, I wouldn't buy an Ibanez pedal but then again I've never tried one so...

Thats the thing, they sound incredible but the construction is iffy.

What's differense between Overdrive and Distortion??

Distortion is caused when Solid State amps clip.
Over Drive is caused when Tube amps are pushed to their limits.

Overdirve can be little more scratchy and raw sounding. At this point moest OD and Dis, peadal are almost the same as the technology is getting better but thier is a bit of a diference.
