bassist-bmxer 12-19-2004 10:14 AM

 no, i havent played a gig with her yet.

Foxfire 12-19-2004 10:14 AM

Haha. :p

See, I have tons of variations down, including a chorus for it. I decided, however, to turn it into a 3-piece band song. ;) Soon as my brother gets his guitar for Christmas (It's here, I just can't play it. :p) I'm going to write in the other parts.

Hm. Then there must be someone else who did a coffee house gig with someone. And JoZ was there.

'yet' lol, yeah, one day Luke!

Foxfire 12-19-2004 10:16 AM

I think I might head to GC today, and I'll bring my Conklin. I have yet to try out anything above my 10 watt I have with the Conklin. :upset:

PaulSimonon 12-19-2004 10:18 AM

Should be fun. I want to go to GC, but I don't know what I'd buy, or look into buying.

Foxfire 12-19-2004 10:21 AM

I'm going to look into effects, prolly. And maybe just mess around.

PaulSimonon 12-19-2004 10:26 AM

Oh... crap....

Well, I have a reason to go now.

The amp I was going to buy from a TB guy was already sold. For 75$ less than what I would have paid...

PaulSimonon 12-19-2004 10:28 AM

That's like keeping a mighty tiger locked up in a 6 foot cage you jerk. I almost want to negative rep you for not letting your Conklin do what it's supposed to do. :p

Foxfire 12-19-2004 10:33 AM

Oh, today it will.

And I bet you anything people will walk up to me and the conversations will be like this

"Whoa, what the hell is that?"
"It's a landing strip, *******. Where's your 747?"

And then they'll feel bad.

bottlerocket 12-19-2004 10:34 AM

Foxfire 12-19-2004 10:35 AM

"What kind of bass is that?"
"It's a special bass. And not special like special education. It's special like...Special K, the cereal. Hey, whatever happened to regular K? And for that matter, what ever to Kate Ballard? You know, if you say "Mallard" when you have a cold, it sounds like "Ballard."

bottlerocket 12-19-2004 10:40 AM

^ "Do you even listen to yourself when you talk?"
"Eh, I drift in and out."

BassVirtuoso 12-19-2004 11:33 AM

I just had a dream about the best bass ever.

Conklin shaped, except the upperhorn isn't so much longer than the bottom horn. Kind of like a G&L.

It was a 6 string Tuned EADGCF, The finish is the best part. Siberian Tiger stripes with pouncing tiger inlays, made of alabone. White neck, like the Bill Dickens bass. Headstock with Alabone Tiger eyes on it....oh man...
