I got my nose pierced today with a little teeny stud in it. I love it so much. My mom said I could get it, but I didn't tell her I went today.. and I'm gonna see how long it takes for her to notice.
Lucky you. My mom is the kind of mom that would notice things like that before she even saw me.

zomg pics, yo!

I so need a nipple piercing. It seems that the trendy guy piercing nowadays is the lip ring. I know about 3 dudes that just got them at my school, and now they sound like fagth with lithpth. Poor them.

I want to get a nosering...

Mom won't let me get anything but my ears pierced until I go out on my own though...

EDIT: I hate people with liprings. They're unbelievably stupid, and impair eating ability, which is a no-no in my book.

Eyebrow rings I like...i want to get one of those too. :D

I'm only a fan of a few (three, I believe) Hawthorne Heights songs, but I play them at 1.4X speed normally.

And Jelle, the end of "Pu****" tops every other Tool song in my opinion.

Kurtz 09-20-2005 05:07 PM

Mine hasn't updated either. My top artists does I think, but that's about it.

I can't stand Hawthorne Heights, but I loved making fun of Ohio is For Lovers during the summer.

NP Kool and the Gang - Jungle Boogie

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-20-2005 05:11 PM

My favorite Tool song is Third Eye. I don't know why, it just puts me into a mood that I don't get any other time, but when listening to that song.

I have 7.14 gigs of music on my computer. L8, but so what.

superpeer 09-20-2005 05:12 PM

Heh, I never mess with the speed. :\

NP: Nile - Unas, Slayer of the Gods

This song is soooo amazing, after all this time, it still amazes me. If you don't know it, go find it.

Neurotoxin 09-20-2005 05:13 PM

When they played "Pushit" live, Justin and Adam switched parts. Justin played the guitar riffs on his bass, while Adam did vice-versa.

I always do, especially with Tool.

I love listening to Parabola, Stinkfist, Prison Sex, and Lateralus at 1.4x.

Lord Abortion 09-20-2005 05:14 PM

Tool are good, I just wish Maynard would sing up a bit, he mumbles too much...

That feels like cheating, making a band faster often makes it sound cooler, then you like the band more than you actually would... or something..

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-20-2005 05:17 PM

Speeding up music is the wierdest thing I've heard in a while. Doesn't it mess up the pitch of everything?

I sometimes slow songs down when learning them, as it's a rather good tool, but I can't stand how badly some songs sound with an augmented pitch.

Ollie- Yeah, he's impossible to understand most of the time.

Neurotoxin 09-20-2005 05:18 PM
That feels like cheating, making a band faster often makes it sound cooler, then you like the band more than you actually would... or something..
I listen to music to entertain myself. If it sounds better, then hell yes I'll speed it up. But I won't give a band much credit if the only way I find them enjoyable is at an altered speed.
Tool are good, I just wish Maynard would sing up a bit, he mumbles too much...
That's why I love the end of "Pushit"... one of my favourite vocal deliveries from Maynard.
Speeding up music is the wierdest thing I've heard in a while. Doesn't it mess up the pitch of everything?
Not really... especially not at 1.4X.

I just click the "1.4X speed" button in WMP.

Lord Abortion 09-20-2005 05:18 PM

That's why I can't really get into Tool, I like the music, but The vocals do nothing for me, really.

Dr. Jake Destructo 09-20-2005 05:23 PM

Wow. At the Drive-In are one band that shouldn't be sped up.

300Mhz sounds like crap when sped up. :p

Neurotoxin 09-20-2005 05:25 PM

Try listening to 46&2 at 1.4X, it sounds great. Other recommended Tool songs at 1.4X: Eulogy, Lateralus, Parabola.

I actually wanted to do a cover of 46&2 at 1.4X with my old band but unfortunately we broke up not long after.

ATM 09-20-2005 07:04 PM

Where is the button where you can speed it up in Winamp?
Tool are good, I just wish Maynard would sing up a bit, he mumbles too much...
Have you heard Pu****? It's probably the song where he lets his talent shine most.

Illmatic 09-20-2005 08:25 PM

When Maynard goes all-out, he has an enjoyable voice.

Normally he has that obnoxious nasal croon though, and I can't stand it.

Neurotoxin 09-20-2005 08:28 PM

"Remember I will always love you as I blow your fucking throat away."

Anyways... has anyone else seen the movie "Crash"? I just watched it and I must say I'm impressed.
