No, not really.
I was just fickle last night.
Well know I feel much better. Cause the last I need is someone hating me from the other side of the world.
Ok Pespi.

Win A Rabbit 04-11-2006 05:07 PM

so a friend of mine is having a birthday party next saturday. only thing is, she wants it to be a costume party. blegh. i've seen what they do to people who turn up to costume parties not wearing a costume, and i don't want to be one of those kids. hmm... i don't really want to wear a costume though.

what to do, what to do.

White 04-11-2006 05:07 PM

Also Today My Teacher Got me talking about buddy Rich and hse was like "You know hes still alive??' Me: "I really don't think he is (I didn't want to make her look like an idiot lol) Her: No he is, he's vacationing down in florida" Me: oreally for the past twenty years or so???" Her: Well i'll look it up and show you'
Thatsa alkmost as dumb as when she tried to tell me that the Pulse set that was at our school wa worh almost 1500$

Berk 04-11-2006 05:13 PM

I hate when My teachers/Parents do that.
My dad always says I have "Top of the Line" stuff when discussing drumming with other people.

White 04-11-2006 05:16 PM

Berk 04-11-2006 05:18 PM

My dad would be like "Yeah, My son has sabian sawblades".

We_Love_Lime 04-11-2006 05:20 PM
My dad would be like "Yeah, My son has sabian sawblades".
Blah....
My parents don't get involved in my drumming life.

They only tell me like when practice is and when they see a band playing.

Berk 04-11-2006 05:23 PM

My mom only does that.

Berk 04-11-2006 05:23 PM

Bleh...

Tyr 04-11-2006 05:25 PM

That's why it's nice to live by myself.

Berk 04-11-2006 05:26 PM

I am only 13.

Juicy_Forlorn 04-11-2006 05:28 PM

My parents never tell me to practice. Even if I'm not practicing enough. I guess it's my responsibility or something. But I always make sure to practice enough when I can anyway. Occassionally my mom will tell me to practice less :amaze:

Win A Rabbit 04-11-2006 05:30 PM

i don't practice on my kit when my parents are home. i'll hear them come in and i'll stop and come upstairs. they'll say "keep playing, we don't mind." and then 5 minutes later, get mad at my brother upstairs for chipping golf balls in the house and hearing minor thumps. so i take the hint and just practice on my pad until they leave.

Drum Phil 04-11-2006 05:32 PM

My dad didnt notice when i took all my cymbals off apart from 2 crashes, ride and hats.

Tyr 04-11-2006 05:32 PM
I am only 13.
Ahh, I see...

When I lived with my parents, my mom used force me to go play ice hockey so she would be spared the noise. It probably didn't help that I played the trumpet when I was younger. She absolutely hated that instrument. I think that was when she got fed up with me playing music.

Juicy_Forlorn 04-11-2006 05:33 PM

I'm really lucky that my parents normally don't mind me practicing while they're home. And I live on a farm so there's no neighbours close enough to hear me practicing either.

Berk 04-11-2006 05:33 PM

I HATE when your wearing ear muffs and you hear the click of the sticks on cymbals. EWWW It makes me mad.

Berk 04-11-2006 05:35 PM
My dad didnt notice when i took all my cymbals off apart from 2 crashes, ride and hats.
I bet you did that cause your teh n00b.
No, but seriously why did you do that?

Drum Phil 04-11-2006 05:35 PM
