Wtf? Here they want to raise it to 17.
Not like I care, though. I hate driving.

Edit: It took me three minutes to type all of this. =/
The road is pretty easy, but parking lots and parking garages are terrible. They should have tests just for those.

TTTSNB, do you like crab?

17? Thats dumb. I love driving, haha, I like the feeling of being in control of something I guess. Parking lots/ garages suck everywhere, some can be really, really tight. Oh, and I love crab. I live in the essential US crab capital. Ordering all you can eat crab is excellent.

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:27 AM

Haha. I've wanted to ask that question for a really long time.
I'm pleased to see you aren't changing the stereotype.

My parents made me park in a parking garage once, and I almost got t-boned twice because idiots can't read the huge "DO NOT ENTER" signs posted everywhere. And nobody can ever grasp the concept of going up instead of driving around the first level 300 times.

Heh, well I don't think its a bad one, so I don't really mind. Yeah, people generally suck at driving everywhere, just learn to expect it and not be bothered too much by them. I had to park in the TIGHTEST space today , I parked pretty much in the middle of it, and I still barely had any room to get out.

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:39 AM

You should have opened your door with all of your might and put a huge dent in the car next to you.

LittlePound 08-08-2006 12:40 AM

i almost died last saturday in a car.....end of interesting story.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 12:50 AM

Meh, Ive heard better stories

Janeway 08-08-2006 12:57 AM

I got Chock Full O' Nuts coffee. It tastes pretty much like crap.
I'm going to keep buying it, though. I hate being a sucker for marketing.

Tang. 08-08-2006 12:59 AM

Yes. I'd buy it as well..

1) To fight the man

and

2) For its name.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 01:01 AM

Never heard of it....

Janeway 08-08-2006 01:05 AM

Fighting the man by buying a coffee produced by Sara Lee.

But yes, it's name is very good.

I guess it tastes okay now. Atleast it's better than Folgers.

But then again, freeze dried shit flakes are better than Folgers.

fishbulb 08-08-2006 01:51 AM

Guess what i did today?

I went to a pawn shop to sell some useless **** i had around the house. So me and 3 of my friends plopped a huge pile of stuff including a TV down on the table. The guy said that all of it was too old and we felt like complete idiots taking all of it back out.

Then we attached the tv to some rope and attached the rope to a tailhitch. We found an empty road and pushed the TV out while going 30 MPH. There were sparks everywhere and it split in half. It was crazy.

Drum Phil 08-08-2006 08:29 AM

I may well be going to a thomas lang clinic

Sunshine 08-08-2006 09:20 AM

Aww. Crap. I have to take my test in a few hours and I don't even know which buttons the defoggers are =/

Ethan. 08-08-2006 09:59 AM

I like that name better Pespi.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 10:21 AM

Damn, I have tennis lessons in like 40 minutes.....

Wouldnt be that bad if the prices werent jacked up during the summer, because no one else goes.

Ethan. 08-08-2006 10:22 AM

I used to love playing tennis... then I quit when I broke my arm and never played again.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 10:26 AM

Well I play for the school, so I have to take the lessons so i can be better than the other people that have been playing so long. Unless I want to get stuck playing doubles with crappy people. I basically have 2 choices this year. Play doubles on varsity team, or singles on junior varsity.Im most likely playing singles.

Ethan. 08-08-2006 10:28 AM

what grade are you in?

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 10:32 AM

I will be in 10th grade this year.Only 6 days till school starts

Berk 08-08-2006 10:44 AM
I will be in 10th grade this year.Only 6 days till school starts
Ehehe, 23 days for me..

Ethan. 08-08-2006 10:49 AM

I'm going back the 25th I think... 11th grade got two more years till independance day...

drummerdave 08-08-2006 10:53 AM
I will be in 10th grade this year.Only 6 days till school starts
same here

Hyde 08-08-2006 11:27 AM

I can't wait till school starts. I wish I was going back in six days... but I have to wait till the 28th.

School for me is the greatest place on earth... right next to a restaurant in Alhambra where everyopne speaks Cantonese. BUt man... dumplings are the best thing in the world... better than Jesus.

trysthedrummer 08-08-2006 11:27 AM
Wtf? Here they want to raise it to 17.
Not like I care, though. I hate driving.
Over here it's 17 years. You have do a theory bit, like the one you guys were on about?, it includes the hazard perception which I think is a pile of crap.

Do you learn to drive in automatics then?

^You can't beat dumplings :D

Get real coffee then. I've found most coffee of that type is awful.

TTTSNB 08-08-2006 12:21 PM
Aww. Crap. I have to take my test in a few hours and I don't even know which buttons the defoggers are =/
They won't test that. Haha.

Sunshine 08-08-2006 12:24 PM

Ehh, my parents are thoroughly convinced that I have to know what each and every button does for the test and crap.

But I guess it's nice to know what the defoggers are. And I do know now, so..yeah.

I hate this stupid state. They said I can't get my license til tomorrow, but tomorrow's the first day of school and I only have 4 of 6 classes, and if I can't drive I'm stuck, AND they say if you've no classes you're not allowed in the building..afija0[q5j0[2q3948r[-agu [-9ufd[adsfjnads;fjk.

Oh, and I might not be able to get a parking permit at school. There's this uberly fagtarded rule that says that if you don't have your licence ON the first day of school, you can't get a parking permit EVER.

>=O

jalel 08-08-2006 12:39 PM

My driving test consisted of going around the block once. Yes, that's right: 4 left turns. I believe a rock could have passed this test.

I start taking drum lessons the 27th of this month. The guy is going to actually come to my house to teach me. Costs $50 for an hr and a half, which is pretty reasonable. He drums for a local band in Chattanooga called Milele Roots and does studio work for various bands. He has a myspace page f you guys want to check it out. Just search on there for Yattie the Stage Terrorist.....

Berk 08-08-2006 12:40 PM

Poor sportsmanship reaches a whole new level!

trysthedrummer 08-08-2006 12:51 PM

Round the block once!? That can't even be called a test.

Nobody likes my stories, so i'll make it shorter.

I threw a TV out of a moving car.

Did you light it on fire first?

trysthedrummer 08-08-2006 01:08 PM

Did you pick the mess up. :p

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 01:13 PM

Sweet the tennis lessons today were only $13. 4 other people actually showed up. But i need to work on my game. For those of you that know what this means, my backhand volley and serve suck ***. Well my serve is alright, I just need to add speed to my spin.

And accoding to my teacher I dont attack the ball enough

not fishbulb 08-08-2006 01:49 PM

No, i just left it there.

Man i was stupid when i made this account.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 02:04 PM

Thats almost as bad as not cocaberry.

Sync0pation 08-08-2006 03:04 PM

yo leprechaun us tennis players are lucky, drumming and playing tennis use similar muscles

I used to have the same problem as you, not attacking the ball enough, but I think its just a confidence thing. Start practicing using a lot more strength and you'll be surprised how accurate you are (if you have the basic technique). Don't go overboard though, make sure you can control yourself.

Leprechauns1021 08-08-2006 03:07 PM

Ya tennis is awesome. I should have started sooner though, Ive only been playing for a year, and I usually have to face people that have 4+ yrs of experience. Oh well, hard work and determination>experience.

Do you play for your school?

Sync0pation 08-08-2006 03:12 PM

yeah I play for my school. sadly this summer i've been busy (with drums and band, actually, haha, and work) and haven't played much but a couple times with my friends. the past few summers i've been in tournaments and stuff.

but yeah man tennis is awesome, keep with it, you'll be able to play the game for until you're really old (as opposed to more intensive sport like basketball).
