Ohh no I sprinkle it on
I just have no respect for anyone like that at all... Especially drunks which I have a searing hate for beyond anything. Start talkin about alcohol or anything like that and i'll be ready to tear your heart out in a second... It pisses me off.

Anything like that has always shown a lack of strength to me, you’re giving in and I have no respect for that. Don't give me "it's for the taste.. it's for the feel" go drink some fuckin grape juice get off the sauce... You got people who are 12-13 years old already drinking it's unbelivble. That’s why I ignore those people and have nothing to do with anyone like that. The people I used to know where ALL "common feeders" as I like to call them. Straight outta the ole pez dispenser typical disgusting pieces of shit cast from the same mold the same garbage. After awhile you just get sick of it. Id rather speak to no one at all and not have to get pissed off and deal with that stuff.
Jim, just curious on your thoughts of "social drinking" - having 1 glass of wine at a large dinner, champagne at a wedding, church communion wine, etc.?

Win A Rabbit 04-10-2006 09:26 PM

mmm... my mom's making cupcakes. i can smell them.

what exactly is the difference between a cupcake and a muffin? a muffin and a cake? a cupcake and a muffin? angel food cake and cake? angel food cake and a muffin? angel food cake and a cupcake?

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:28 PM

It's all apart of it man

You can toss the classiest word in front of "drinking" and it doesn’t make a difference.

You don't need any of that

PremierManiac 04-10-2006 09:28 PM
If you eat them dry, then you miss out on the magical flavor packet...... made from excess chicken parts...
I ate the whole brick without it so when I was done I just ate all the powder.

Well I think it's like this

Cupcakes have frosting

Muffins don't

PremierManiac 04-10-2006 09:29 PM

There's differences in the batter, I don't remember what, but there are.

mmm, i see.

My girlfriend comes from a family with a history of alcoholics. she took oath to herself never to touch the ****. not even at her wedding, nor does she take the wine at church communion. i have a thousand times the respect for her for that decision and i've been seriously contemplating doing the same (i dunno about chuch communion tho)

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:31 PM

Good on her to do so man

Make sure you back her up and support that, thats a good thing.

All you have to do is open your eyes man, take a look around it's EASY to see.

PremierManiac 04-10-2006 09:32 PM

My cheap a** church uses grape juice instead of wine.

mmmhmm, i'm proud of my baby :)

she's a very level-headed girl. my closest friend and my role model before my girlfriend.
My cheap a** church uses grape juice instead of wine.
I think most churches do, or at least a mix heavy on the juice.

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:36 PM

You'll go far

Thats nice to see for once

Chippy569 04-10-2006 09:37 PM

hey jim, did you block me on AIM? i've not seen you on in a long time. I'd love to chat with you now and then :)

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:40 PM

I don't speak to anyone on there anymore

Chippy569 04-10-2006 09:42 PM

Ah, that'd do it.

So I went to the doctors today. I have some health problems concerning my heart. Im not obese (I don't think, probably close heh) but with my height and wieght (6'5 300) The doctor said he sees trouble in a few years.

On a happier note: Tommorow my dad is gonna be visiting for a week :D (Tuesday cheap flights FTW)

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:44 PM

No offence taken

Everyone’s gotta pull em outta the holsters now and then

Chippy569 04-10-2006 09:44 PM

Faith: think you could do some running or biking every morning? nothing's better for 'ya...

Win A Rabbit 04-10-2006 09:47 PM

i've been around alcoholism my whole life too. my uncle is one of those guys who's addicted to just about everything. alcohol, gambling, you name it. and i've seen the consequences. people all around me have fallen under it to. it's one of those things that i promised myself i would never fall under. i have a bunch of rules and such that i feel are sufficient to keep me from transitioning to a social drinker to an alcoholic.

but hey, i'm not going to deny that i have a much higher chance of turning into an alcoholic than someone who refuses to ever drink. sure, we all know that. but willpower is very very strong, if used correctly.

anyways, that's my little talk for the day.

Chippy569 04-10-2006 09:48 PM

pass me a shirley temple, please :)

or a virgin strawberry daquiri... yummy!

I dunno, Might try some speed walking first.

I am only doing it because some people in my life are putting me through a guilt trip. Haha I am so weak to stuff like that.

It most certainly is

Chippy569 04-10-2006 09:50 PM

if you don't think you have a problem, you won't be motivated to fix it... you can't improve yourself because someone wants you to, only because you want to, otherwise it means nothing to you.

Win A Rabbit 04-10-2006 09:51 PM

so back in grade 10 i was able to do around 60 pushups without taking a break (being late for class really builds up those muscles  ), but it was something i only did when i was late for class. then, the other day, i tried doing them at home. i got to 20 and was exhausted. so then i come into class late, and get told to do 50. i tell him i'm going to have to take a break, and he tells me to start doing them. i did all 50 without even breaking a sweat.

???

what's with that? anyone have any reasons for this?

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:51 PM

Just watch what you eat first, slowly cut back and stop eating crap trust me on this it works. Stop drinkin pop and stop poundin the chips and candy down and you'll be set. I've become extremely aware and conscious of my health now and eating habits are 90% of staying in good shape. That and simple excerises like biking, running, some isometerics ect ect you'll be in much better health.

Chippy569 04-10-2006 09:53 PM

good night's sleep will also help a TON with your health and productivity. get your eight hours!
if you don't think you have a problem, you won't be motivated to fix it... you can't improve yourself because someone wants you to, only because you want to, otherwise it means nothing to you.
Yeah you are right. I really suck at losing wieght. Never had luck with it before, so I look at it like I will fail again. :(

But I need to lose it.

Np: Michael Romeo -Cask of Amontillado.

Double Bass Jim 04-10-2006 09:54 PM
