I started work last night at a cool station, WPFW 89.3

They play a lot of jazz, but also have a cool hip hop show every night.

I'm interning for a late night jazz show, and right before mine is the hip hop show. They were playing Aceyalone, RJD2, Madlib, Wu Tang, and Quasimoto. And this is a legit, widely broadcast station.

Pretty badass.

gorilla zoe was at the mall here this past saturday passing out free cds it was pretty cool
