a couple of days ago i made a stencil of the lion of judah, and i felt like putting it on my guitar, i used fine liner but it obviously rubbed off after i played bass for a while...what could i use that would stick to plastic...this is what it looks like:

I got bored earlier while job hunting, so I made this 7Seconds stencil. Feel free to use it.

In australia (sydney at least), a beer bong is when you replace the bong water with beer...usually with the filthy, disgusting intention of drinking it afterwards (as a bit of a novelty)

That's probably the dumbest thing I've heard in awhile. THC is alcohol soluble, therefore smoking weed from a bong with an alcoholic substance in it instead of water will only take away from the experience.

hence you drink the water (beer)...gives the same effect as cookies

I think I'd rather just use water. That beer probably tastes like juice from Nick's ass.

We used Sprite over the weekend in this kids bubb.

About two summers ago we used No-Name Cola in this one kid's beer bong. It tasted good actually.

really, but it must have absorbed a lot of the THC.

coheneran 01-06-2006 03:50 PM

I fear this thread is turning into a pot thread.

holy_roller99 01-06-2006 03:54 PM

it counts as do it yourself. it is better than buying a fifty dollar bong that could be made jsut as easily for maybe 5 bucks. a admit there is some good pipes and stuff you can get for pretty cheap but they are more for practicality than looks.

Iron Bug 01-06-2006 03:56 PM

Can anyone link me to that site where it had a load of stencil outlines for punk bands and such, I'm looking for a Flux Of Pink Indians stencil.

holy_roller99 01-06-2006 03:58 PM

go to the first page of this thread and it will take you to stencilpunks. that should clear it up for you.

I agree, if people posted instructions on how to make awesome bongs for cheap that don't get aluminium into your body so it can solidify in your lungs, that would be constructive, but talking about how high you got from THC-soaked bongwater (eeew, I will post some recipes for you lazy bong freaks) is not constructive, it is annoying. Arguing isn't constructive either, so there, I said my bit. Goodboo.

holy_roller99 01-06-2006 04:02 PM

drinking bong water is nasty. it takes all the crap from the smoke and filters it through the water and to drink all the crap is nasty. my frieds bong want chaged for a month and it turned into a pile of sludge.

I would like to soundproof a room in my house. Is it true that covering the wall in egg cartons will make the room soundproof?

coheneran 01-06-2006 04:11 PM
I would like to soundproof a room in my house. Is it true that covering the wall in egg cartons will make the room soundproof?
In a way. They use eggbox shaped foam to keep sound from echoing in recording studios. If you have paper-thin walls, it'll keep your moans of masturbatory pleasure from echoing around the house more than a few times. So that won't work very well, though I don't know what will, I am just kinda pissing on your bonfire, sorry.

I'm in the process of making a shirt. For something new, I want to use a glue stick to glue my stencil to the shirt instead of just taping the outside. Would it damage my shirt at all?

It may leave a stain. Why glue when you have perfectly good duct tape?

Iron Bug 01-06-2006 04:49 PM

I dont think glue comes out very easily. Safety pin it, the holes dont really show.

That's how I do it. Just put a good amount on, but try not to get a bunch of big clumps, then drop a big book on it to keep it all down. Works great, and if there's any glue still on there, it'll wash off.

Ever tried to get duct tape residue off a shirt?

I remember when Johnny Ramone died, I wore my Ramones shirt with a duct tape strip on it reading "RIP Johnny" and at the end of the day I took it off, and there was this huge strip of residue left. I think it was mainly because I had a bad roll of duct tape, but you never know when that **** is going to stay. Was a bitch getting it out with Goo Gone and repeated washings.

coheneran 01-06-2006 05:06 PM

Fine, masking tape.

asdf 01-06-2006 05:07 PM

Glue stick has never failed me.

I was bored yesterday and made a minor threat patch. I don't know if this is exactly how I want it to be just yet. Should I ad more detail? Can you recognize it as what it's supposed to be? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/minorthreat.jpg

Here was my practice as a patch. Not sure if I'll actually take the effort to make it a patch.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/1909803a.jpg

Iron Bug 01-06-2006 05:09 PM

Its the Minor Threat cover, it looks great.

coheneran 01-06-2006 05:09 PM

It's good. If you know what it is, you see it straight away, but at first casual glance can't make it out. Add detail to the surrounding so you can see the thing in the middle is a dude. :thumb:

Brain Toad 01-06-2006 05:12 PM

I haven't done anything DIY in a long time. I gave up after I ran out of room on my jacket and vest and the fact I suck at doing anything else.

Nerdcore753 01-06-2006 05:14 PM

I was DIY as a 7 year old when I made paper action figures.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 01-06-2006 05:17 PM

I typically stick my stencils to the fabri with a spray adhesive. Spray it, let it dry just a bit, then ley it down and press around the edges. Works excellently and leaves no residue.

The thing is, it's hard to add more detail on him, because there's no red on him, but what I cut out is red.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/asdf23/minorthreat2.jpg
does that help at all?
