"Best gains" meaning "most gains"? I think those balloon people look disgusting. I'd rather be built like Matthew Mcconaughey, or at most Jason Statham or Hugh Jackman, than Sly or Arnold, and I'm pretty close with just working out, running and eating healthy.
No, best gains, hence why I said "best" and not "most".

Wow, you astound me, "working out" and "eating healthy", what are these concepts.

"best" meaning? muscle in the "best" place? "best" muscle?

I'm not sure if eating healthy includes artificially produced and dried protein, but whatever floats your Zeppelin :p

by "best" are you talking about glamour muscles in which case none of us are talking about that.

whey protein is as artificial as high fructose corn syrup.

i dont just want to be healthy. i want to be as close to peak performance levels as i can. thats just me. so ill do what i have to do. you keep eating healthy and working out (which is exactly what i do as well)

Modern Iconoclast 01-19-2010 11:22 AM

Sup lod. So today my right knee hurts like a bitch if I bend it at a certain angle. It's fine if it's completely straight or if I bend it 90 degrees or more, but if I bend it like 20-45 degrees like when I'm walking it ****in hurts. I can put weight on it just fine and there's no swelling, any ideas on wtf I could've done to it?

Left Face Down 01-19-2010 11:34 AM

Any recent stress on it? I've twisted a knee before with similar results, but it didn't hurt as much as it sounds like you are going through. It hurt at first, and then a couple of hours after it went down to being noticeably sore for a day or so.

4yearpro? 01-19-2010 11:35 AM

speaking of knees. yesterday i found out i need to get surgery done on mine :upset:

Modern Iconoclast 01-19-2010 12:07 PM

I do taekwondo but I haven't practiced too much lately. I just ran a mile yesterday.

Left Face Down 01-19-2010 12:17 PM

I figure if you injured it running you would have known what you did. If you don't run very often then maybe it is because of the fact your knee isn't accustom to that kind of stress. The only other thing I can think of is your shoes. If they're flat on bottom, then get real running shoes. Otherwise if you have like tennis shoes/basketball shoes/etc. you should be fine. As all of those, to my knowledge, have proper support for your feet.

idk, stay off of it for a day or two and if it still hurts I would go see a doctor. Though if you're in real bad pain I would go sooner than later. I've had an issue with one of my knees for a while, but honestly never had it properly checked out. Though I know what happened to it. I slipped while bowling and my knee met the corner of the lane. They didn't really like each other though.

What you need surgery for?

4yearpro? 01-19-2010 12:23 PM

calcified loose body. it causes my knee to be swollen at times, pop, click, give out when i walk, hurt, feel sore etc.

if u dont no wut it is :)

Modern Iconoclast 01-19-2010 12:23 PM

I usually run 2-3 times a week, with proper shoes. After I ran yesterday I just had the typical leg soreness, it wasn't until today that my knee started hurting. The pain isn't excruciating, just kinda sharp, and it only happens when my knee is at a really specific angle. If it isn't at that angle it feels perfectly fine, it's weird. I'm just gonna ice it and see what happens.

Ugh loose bodies suck, they're like a pencil in a door hinge >.<

4yearpro? 01-19-2010 12:27 PM

y do u have or had them?

Modern Iconoclast 01-19-2010 12:49 PM

Nah but I have several friend in taekwondo that have had them, the ones who have had a torn ACL say the loose body was worse.

4yearpro? 01-19-2010 12:55 PM

:upset: lol ok. ty. mine will be removed in feb.
