its another one of those really sad stories...the guy's my idol...

perspectives was done during the developmental stages of the disease so theirs almost no guitar in it... but the compositions are beautiful nonetheless

I listen to Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, RATM, RHCP, Audioslave, Maiden, Incubus + many more but those are my general tastes.
Im after pretty much, just rock n roll, or maybe something along incubus lines.
im not really into heavy stuff i.e. Slipknot, Killswitch etc, cos im not into screaming myself, but if its heavy musically thats cool

Iron Maiden is metal.

Try some Porcupine Tree. Deadwing and In Abstenia are two great albums by them.

At the moment I'm only really into Kreator and Sodom.

Try Destruction's [I]The Antichrist[/I] and Exodus' latest releases.

Also for newer bands, try Violator, Sauron and Hypnosia.

Just more Thrash. I only started listening to the genre a month or two ago after talking with a guy at college, and Kreator/Sodom were his recommendations.
