Are you kidding? Cliche was right on with his post if you think those albums all are similar you need to suck your dad's jizz out your ears.

mullets suk 02-27-2008 02:59 PM

sadly flagjacket is right...

This Gypsy Panther will not play for me.

This upsets me.

asdf 02-27-2008 07:12 PM

The name is misleading.

Theres no need to be a full blown asshole about this. I tried to talk about something and I know he made a point. I know those albums are different, but I had a differen't idea than he did, and I'd rather not get into it because shit like this happens where people like you bring your pretentious douchebag posts into here just for the sake of being a dick to anyone you don't agree with.

Now please. Can we just drop it?

Ghostfire3 02-28-2008 01:56 AM

Dude, I don't know what you're talking about. All those albums definitely have different sounds.

TakeWarning 02-28-2008 02:40 AM

Very different.

They'd never revert to their Crime/RAR sound, but it would be pretty good if they released something like ATEC.

For the record, I'm not being a dick. In fact, I agree with you. 80% of the people here are ***-holes.

Brewing Up With 02-28-2008 07:41 AM

I'm not talking about you Cliche, you weren't being a dick at all. You made a point, all of their records are like that. But I meant by switching up their sound between records frequently. They're going to stick with this rock sound for a while, and I meant that it would be healthy for them to go for kind of a record reaching back to their roots soon, or go for an ATEC sound again to keep them interesting.

I know that all their albums are different. I just worded my first statement poorly.

Cliche 02-28-2008 10:22 AM

I can't really see them going back to any styles they've already done. Maybe SFAFC, but that's really the only one. It'd be interesting if they try and make another New Wave, or go for something new.

Brewing Up With 02-28-2008 02:14 PM

It would be cool if they just did an acoustic album sometime in the future just to shake things up.

Henrik 02-28-2008 03:11 PM

I agree on that one. It would be really interesting to hear a new acoustic cd. i know it wouldn't be like the acoustic ep, but I still got a feeling it would sound better than their most recent electric stuff.
other than that the only new Against Me! release that would make me really interested in the band again would be a total reinventing of their style or eventually a b-side record.

A new New Wave would make me loose interest for this band.

mullets suk 02-28-2008 04:29 PM

maybe they'll keep going with changing there sounds and we'll get a metal album, how cool would that be \m/

asdf 02-28-2008 04:35 PM

All that touring with Mastodon might do that.

But will all that touring with Tegan and Sara make them lesbians?

Cliche 02-28-2008 05:05 PM

Lesbian metal?

catharsis 02-28-2008 05:15 PM

As the Eternal and Axl Rose made me ****. Unfortunate what they're doing now.

mullets suk 02-28-2008 06:11 PM
Have you heard the acoustic versions of New Wave and Animal?
yeah I have New Wave from the time you uplaoded it, but it doesn't really do anything for me.

I would like a rough version of Up The Cuts acoustic with some screaming here and there.

Brewing Up With 02-29-2008 09:42 AM

Theres a video of Against Me! playing an acoustic version of Up The Cuts already. It's only okay though.

His voice gets a little phlegmy instead of screamy.

FreeSmells 03-01-2008 10:29 AM
