If you're talking strictly full-length albums, than 5 counting the upcoming album. They've also released many singles and several EPs, so I don't know how many overall.

Am I the only one who is surprised about how secret the new songs have been kept? I would've expected more than IYF and the cover to have leaked by now. :(

Yeah, it's only a month until it's worlwide release, usually by now the whole album would be circulating through the internet. Opeth's new album leaked two months before it's release date.

EDIT: This may seem odd. Was anyone going to try and order the Japanese import version? I was thinking about it since it comes with bonus tracks and a bonus DVD. It would be quite expensive but I think a DVD would be worth it.

If you ask me they're overrated, sound good, but then thats the keyboard, not so much the guitarist. Also the techno keyboards/heavy keyboards remind me of like magna and anime pokemon type stff. I know its weird, but hey thats just me

To those who missed it, yes, half the album was uplaoded. Some guy I had never seen before posted saying he got ahold of a sampler for the new album. He uplaoded it with these tracks:

On Scythes of Bodom they tell of the Japanese version of AYDY? containing bonus tarcks and a DVD. I'm assuming you'll be able to import it from Japan through Amazon for a lot of money, but I think it will be worth it.
