Whether it's selfish or bitchy or not, it's mostly what sloth said...I donno, it's all pointless to me for some reason. I write a piece that can take up to a month and then have it receive 1 crit and then let it fade...plus I don't so much feel like I'm contributing enough...oh well.

I come up with titles/concepts all the time, but it takes awhile to actually finish stuff.

After a medium-long absence, I'm back (sorta). Read a couple songs, critted them. Now I think I'm possibly the meanest critter in these forums. I'm not sure if I should feel proud or sad.

Anywho, I used to post on Mx a fair while ago, mainly in Songwriting (and wrote a few songs that got absolutely caned, and a few that were slightly less caned), but I haven't been around much lately - the forum tells me the last time I visited was 05-27-2005.
Anywho - glad to be back, looks like the overall quality of writing has improved since last I was here.

this. i crit quite abit, because it doesn't take too long and its a chance to force my opinions on others. and it helps pick out errors you may make in your own writing

I took a short nap and had a dream I was in an African-American culture class. It was me, another caucasian and like 6 black guys. The other white guy was a fatty and the black guys hated him cuz he called them slaves. They liked me though cuz I told them Kwanza ruled. Then I said something cool, I think it was what my location said.

Hit the button that says Jukebox, and in the new window that opens up click on New And Exclusive, and listen to Prisoner Of Palestine. This must be the best-written political song I've ever heard, and easily in the top 20 best written songs generally. It's a must-listen.
