See, my guitarist is an awesome guitarist. He's an awesome [i]rhythm[/i] guitarist, though, and really doesn't like to solo all that much. I figure I can be like Baudin to an extent and tap stuff. Also, my drummer is really into bass solos. He's truly a rhythm section player at heart.

i never played 2 or 3. i have played 4 and 6, which were released in everywhere besides japan as 2 and 3, i believe.
i've also played 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
i got turned off after that because they 8 and 10 were fairly poor games.
9 was pretty good but way too easy.
7 was, and always will be, the best.

I liked Tactics, too.

That's just me, though.

I beat Metal Gear Solid 3 yesterday! I'm going to run through it a few more times so I get everything.

I hear the Metal Gear Solid games are really short...

i never played FF Tactics, actually.
remember FF Mystic Quest? that was fun, easy though. a couple difficult bosses though.

mgs 1 was longish.... i beat mgs 2 in 3 hours first time, i havent played mgs3 (well i did for a bit a friends house)

you know what game is amazing, but really short (if you know what you're doing), Resident Evil 2.

i have a friend that once beat it in 1 hour 45 minutes.

I beat act raiser 1 (snes) in 3 hours. im pretty sure thats a record. (i think it took my friend 30 total hours)

MGS1 and MGS3 > MGS2

MGS2 makes me sad. MGS3 is so awesome with the camo and stuff.
