so heres the deal bizoyz, i gotta find a book to read for english and since my local library couldnt produce the ones i wanted, i turn to you guys.
It can be any old book really, but it cant be made into a movie and its gotta be at least reasonably common. i'll check a few librarys if somebodys got a real good one, but i just dont wanna have to have her assign me one if i dont get it by monday.

i've read that and it's awesome, i was gunna read the salmon of doubt but she wouldnt accept it cause there was actually a ****ty cartoon movie made of the guide in the 80's and theres one coming out, she's crazy.

The orginal was brought and merged with all the others.

And the teacher sucks for disallowing books that have had movies made out of them, that leaves very few books out there. If there wasn't a movie directly about it, there is probably a movie influenced by it.

That sucks. What's the point in doing that?

Try reading Paul Auster. My favourite of his books are The New York Trilogy and The Music Of Chance, The New York Trilogy in particular will fu[U]c[/U]k with your head in so many ways.

because then you can just watch the movie and not do the work. I was thinking maybe a biography about someone awesome, because since there's not a lot of work involved in reading this book, i thought i'd pick a pretty straightforward one.

If a teacher can't tell if an essay is written from the movie or the book itself then they are too stupid to be a teacher.

Besides, most movies made from books are extremely inaccurate anyway. It's no use to put false facts in your essay.

yeah, right now we're reading the iliad. it seems kind of hard to read, so i just watched "troy" instead. today we had an open response about it, which sucked becuase i had only actually read pages 74 and 145. so i BS'd my way through a sheet of paper front and back and got a 3.5/4.

I made up some crap about mythology relating to today's cultures and she bought it.
