Too late, Outbreak got added to the tour and I will be taking up axe duties for both bands for the remainder of the tour

Tjebby 06-03-2006 12:28 AM

Now I'm pissed again.

Lazybassplr56 06-03-2006 01:50 AM

I had a really f.ucked up night. Me and my friends drove to this place called "Gravity Hill" which is located in this rural mountain area. And it's this strip of road and there's a hill. And supposedly there was bus accident on that hill and all the children died, and when park put in neutral your car at the bottom backwards with your bumper facing up the hill, your car will get pulled up by itself.

So we try it and we park at the bottom backwards, the car is in neutral and we put baby powder on the bumper. We sit there and all of a sudden the car starts moving backwards up the hill, and we scared sh!tless. Then it starts to pull us off the road and were going towards a cliff. We try to turn the wheel but nothing happens, and we tried to open the doors but they wouldn't open, so my friend puts the emergency break on and we stop. The doors finally opened and we get out and we look at the bumper and there were faint finger prints on it.

I just realized how A Life Less Plauged should have replaced Turn It Around on the top 10 best hardcore albums list.

fan of the game 06-03-2006 08:22 AM

Iron Bug 06-03-2006 08:25 AM

cbmartinez 06-03-2006 12:08 PM

Yeah, there are a bunch of gravity hills around here. They're not that scary.

Lazybassplr56 06-03-2006 03:43 PM

Yah. I was a little drunk when it happened.

kingdead 06-03-2006 04:02 PM

Gravity hills are just opitical illusions, quit being pussies and go back to reading goosebumps.

not cool

faith and fiction 06-05-2006 09:18 PM

Yeah, she's definitely not happy about that dude plastered across the front bumper.

fan of the game 06-05-2006 09:20 PM

alright i understand you think its funny or whatever, but ive had personal experience with a drunk driving accident and its not funny at all, just let someone else drive or crash at your friends

faith and fiction 06-05-2006 09:22 PM

Yeah most of the time I just stay at a friend's house but trust me, when you're drunk, have your car keys, and feel like sleeping in your own bed you're probably gonna be driving.

bottlerocket 06-05-2006 09:24 PM

My best friend Joey was killed by a drunk driver 4 years ago.

Shane, just be careful, man. That's not something to screw around with...

-Gav

fan of the game 06-05-2006 09:25 PM

i know were your coming from, but i just weigh the consequences and usually stay wherever i am, its all good tho mang

bottlerocket 06-05-2006 09:27 PM

Yeah like I know he's not intentionally saying like ROFL DRUNK DRIVING...

Still, though, man, be careful. It would suck if you get your face smashed against the pavement...or someone else's.

-Gav

fan of the game 06-05-2006 09:28 PM

seriously

bottlerocket 06-05-2006 09:29 PM

<3s 4 Shane

Hey Shane, what's your band's MySpace link again?

-Gav

faith and fiction 06-05-2006 09:32 PM

I'll be fine, no more drunk driving though for real. Definitely sucks when you're on the freeway and you realize you're not in the mindset to be driving but you have that whole no turning back thing going on.

http://www.myspace.com/ascienceofme

We have a singer but I can't ****ing stand the way he sings and he basically sits back at practices and doesn't do s'hit and when we tell him to get to work with getting vocals in songs he never listens.

I also hate the name and we're trying to figure something else out.

bottlerocket 06-05-2006 09:36 PM

Yeah, those singers are the worst. It's like...man up and write, bitch.

What do you do? Guitar?

-Gav

faith and fiction 06-05-2006 09:39 PM

I play bass...but I write most of the stuff on guitar as well.

bottlerocket 06-05-2006 09:53 PM

Word. Why don't you post in the bass forum? Not gruff enough for you? :(

-Gav

faith and fiction 06-05-2006 09:57 PM

Actually I'm not gruff enough for the bass forum.

I grew up playing guitar and my sister got a bass a couple years ago but never played it so I picked it up and started playing.

I just pick for the most part but I've been practicing a lot with walking and slapping and stuff.

bottlerocket 06-05-2006 10:01 PM

Shane, there are idiots in the bass forum. You'd be fie. We're harmless. We're probably one of, if not the, nicest forum on MX. :p

I started off on guitar, too, when I was 11 or 12. Started playing bass when I was 13. Never looked back although I still play guitar on the side.

-Gav

Lazybassplr56 06-05-2006 10:39 PM

I play bass in a band. Where kind of a metal band. We like Pantera and stuff like that. I'm going to post our myspace once we get better songs recorded which will be soon.
