I like Dane Cook. His style is really loud and standoffish, though, I will grant you. He doesn't have much confidence in the strength of his material, it seems, because he is sort of overdependant on loud antics.

EDIT: I disagree, Jim. I think my favorite is the prank he describes to play on fast food workers.
