alright cool. well again, not sure if I talked to you about it before, but my dad's from MI, been there a bunch of times. Grand Haven for 3 weeks last year and it was great. :)

in most cases, as long as you stay between 14 mile and 30 mile, and between novi road and gratiot rd, you should be in the better areas



i rarely venture beyon 16 mile and 26 mile and livernois rd to gratiot rd

noticed how it changed quickly, yea. :p got some really crappy areas too.

what place would you recommend going to? might go on my own or with my girlfriend sometime.

royal oak, downtown rochester hills, troy, sterling heights (along m-59 in the shopping district)

downtown detroit is alright in the daytime, stay out of pontiac and flint, um.... lansing and ann arbor, along with kalamazoo are all college towns so that could be fun

been to quite some places already since I've been there.............. 5 times? just the west side of the state though. put a line through lansing or something. west of there. besides driving from detroit metro, of course.
