Boston hardcore band [b]The Hope Conspiracy[/b], who have been relatively inactive during the past year, are now in process of writing a new album. Bassist Jonas Feinberg informed Lambgoat earlier today that the group will begin recording the effort around New Years, and the album will see the light of day in 2006. We'll keep you posted.

Converge will really blow you away live. The energy they have is insane. Best show I've ever seen sans Beastie Boys.

Haha i used to. They toured with lostprophets though...I really don't understand that.

I hate anyone that is even a couple of years older than you automtcially think they know more than you. I played a show last night and some guy started getting pissed at me for saying Converge wasn't hardcore after he started ranting about how sucky 'emo' is and that hardcore was the best genre, and proceeded listing metalcore bands and some other odd groups(The Blood Brothers =/= Hardcore). Also 'emo' means he was referring to bands like Blame It On Rio and My Chemical Romance.

most people older then me automaticly disregard me as some dumb 15 year old kid, who knows nothing about anything(not just music.)

People usually respect my opinion on music even if I am 15, but they usually laugh when I tell them TBC, Hawthorne Heights, and MCR are not emo bands and that emo doesnt mean emoitional.

some are like that, but some are too stuck up to even listen to me or just cut me off mid speech
when i tell people what real emo/screamo/hardcore is they just say im wrong and that things change or just make fun of me because im having a rant haha

People who know me personally know that I generally know more than them, and respect my opinions, haha. I don't go to school, and most people I know realize that all I do is sit home a study music. But random people decide to argue with me when I know perfectly well what I'm talking about, and refuse to accept my comments because I'm a few years younger. I'm 17, and this guy was probably only 19 or 20. Giant douche. He is a friend of my singer and bassist, so I will probably have quite a few run-ins with him.
