 yeah i listened to the end of six thousand years, i forget the names, haha. It's not bad, def not bad musicians, but I don't see myself listening to that type of music to be honest.
The other two bands were not that good :( |
Animosity seem to get left out of lists, they are one of the best

The other two bands were not that good :(
Embrace The End is freaking great mayne. Niggas got mad skills. Trust me, download Ley Lines and listen to it all the way through a few times, that album is probably the best deathcore album ever... probably because it's pretty much just experimental metalcore with a few dm parts. |
I could've sworn I showed you The End Of Six Thousand Years and you said you liked them.
Regardless, http://myspace.com/embracetheend http://myspace.com/theendofsixthousandyears http://myspace.com/whisteriacottage @ Kyle: I wouldn't consider TTEOTD to be hardcore influenced tbh. As for ETE and Whisteria Cottage, those bands have two of my favorite vocalists ever tbh. Especially ETE, Jesse Alford is the ****ing man.
Oh no dude I like TEOSTY... I'm just stating what I got from it lol. And maybe I should give Embrace the End another chance. I like some of Whisteria's riffs... but compared to the Scars of Ages it's mediocre. |
Whisteria Cottage is awesome to me because they have a lot of great traditional dm riffs and some freaking sweet *** melodic parts. And their vocalist is great. I love how swishy and low his growls are, and his shrieks are just BA.
|
counting hallways to the left is my favorite ete. carbombs and conversations/after me the floods are so good.
|
I like Counting Hallways To The Left a lot too, but it gets really really samey after Headlines And Death Tolls until later in the album.
Biography Of A Fever, Headlines And Death Tolls, and Father's Right Hand (My Lai) are my favorites on that album. Also, NP: Carbombs and Conversations |

My favorite melodic deathcore release is probably TBDM's WAHNTHAC demo... and thats really the only breakdowns they have (minus a select few on Unhallowed and Miasma). That demo is just ****ing epic. |
IDK, that demo's alright, not really my cup-o-tea though. Burning Down The Hive is an awesome song though.

Animosity are one of the few DC bands I really really like still.
True story. |
Animosity are one of the few DC bands I really really like still.
True story.
I love Animal... but can't get into their other stuff. |
Empires >>>>> Animal tbh.
|
Empires >>>>> Animal tbh.
I tried it man.. but the intensity of Animal gets me every time. |
Empires is iller than Animal but lets take it to the DC thread bros.
I urge anyone who hasn't still to get the new Evita album. It's pretty good like. |
Krogan scum is back.
Animal>Empires. |
nahhhhh
i couldn't get into animal as much as their other stuff. it goes empires > shut it down > animal for me. i still like animal and all, but i just like their other stuff a lot more. |
Krogan scum is back.
nice |
its hard for me to listen to shut it down, mostly cause of the horrible production from a young band with potential.
empires saw them use that potential and animals saw them perfect it. |
Animals is good, never listened to anything else.
|
Empres>Animals>>>>>>>>>>Shut It Down.
They owe us an album this year. |
