Tyler, can you make a book of similes?

faith and fiction 05-23-2006 08:21 PM
jaaaded
Hahah, is it even possible to be jaded at 17?

Hell I'm just getting started.

F'ucked Up on a bridge man. F'ucked Up on a bridge.

I can. But I would much rather you buy the book of similies I have already composed under my pen-name Rosemarie Jarski. You can find it on Amazon.com

Please tell me it was just like the Punishment video.

faith and fiction 05-23-2006 08:27 PM

Punishment video? I'm out of the loop.

All I know is that bridge was bouncing underneath my feet and I kicked a crowd of crusties in the face then chicken fought somebody.

oh fuck yeah.

faith and fiction 05-23-2006 08:31 PM

Basically imagine this.

3am, south of downtown Austin over some river there's a pedestrian bridge with some outlets.

Then add like 60 or so people, Career Suicide, F'ucked Up, Iron Age, and Look Back And Laugh and there you go.

_Tyler 05-23-2006 08:49 PM

my life is incomplete

Tjebby 05-23-2006 08:58 PM

compared to mine, it is.

Check this band out. They're from here in Laredo, and they just posted some new demo tracks. Shit's tight.

YEEEEEEEOOOOOWWWWW

F-THAT!

Special Brew 05-24-2006 12:01 AM

It's like, southern rock and hardcore, haha. It's pretty cool. The vocals don't really match the music IMO. He's better suited for a faster paced band. They need a rougher and lower vocalist, if you know what I mean.

Well first of all, it's a girl, haha, and the recordings don't do her justice. It's way better live.

RetiredAt21 05-24-2006 09:00 AM

Wow...

Lazybassplr56 05-24-2006 08:37 PM

I just ate 20 bagle bites. I'm going to sh!t out mini pizzas later on.

faith and fiction 05-24-2006 08:39 PM

I ate a whole box of cereal in one sitting last night.

Lazybassplr56 05-24-2006 08:39 PM

Thats dedication. What kind of cereal was it?

faith and fiction 05-24-2006 08:41 PM

Cinnamon Bunz

Haha, I assumed it was a castrated male. Her being a chick makes it a bit more appealing and different.

Almost everyone here has seen this video, but I'm sure you haven't yet so check thie out:

It's an old video that was made by some dude here with Nancy's old band's, Trinity, song for the music.

Special Brew 05-24-2006 09:40 PM

bottlerocket 05-24-2006 09:58 PM

Is that the video where the kid dances with the foldup chair?

It's like Laredo Hardcore in Texas or something?

"This is Laredo Hardcore"

...and yes, it's the video with the dude swinging the chair. Luckily he stopped grabbing chairs, but he's still a douche.

Lazybassplr56 05-25-2006 06:14 PM

Set Your Goals playing in room the size of a classroom.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7489718380584302831

Look out for the 6'2 balding 35 year old Russian guy in the striped shirt. I can't help but keep my eyes on him. He probably weighs like 300 pounds yet he still slam dances.

NewKindofArmy03 05-25-2006 06:50 PM

Man I can't wait to see them tomorrow.

Reiner, you going?

AIRIC 05-25-2006 06:54 PM

Set Your Goals has 2 vocalists?

NewKindofArmy03 05-25-2006 07:01 PM

Haha, that would've been sweet if they continued with that cover of Cemetary Gates in that video.

Let's Chop Cats! 05-26-2006 01:08 AM

Yeah I'm going. Leaving around 5ish, get there an hour early. Park, get a cheesesteak probably then just wait or something.

I just bought my tickets for the Philadelphia show now. Saw Blacklisted tonight and they played pretty good, but Ignite was insane.

Let's Chop Cats! 05-26-2006 11:15 PM

The show was so much fun. I hope someone puts up some p[ictures from the show soon.

Yeah it was. Would the pics be on the bands myspace/website?

NewKindofArmy03 05-27-2006 08:50 AM

The show last night was awesome. What were you two wearing?

Let's Chop Cats! 05-27-2006 09:06 AM

Black Bane - The Note shirt and jeans, I was sweating my balls off. I'm kind of tall, short hair. I think I may have seen you but I'm not sure, as I only saw that one picture awhile ago and I forget what you look like mostly.

NewKindofArmy03 05-27-2006 09:12 AM

I had on the black Municipal Waste shirt with the bright green letters and design. I thought I saw you but I guess not, I didn't see any Bane shirts.

Let's Chop Cats! 05-27-2006 09:22 AM

Hmm. I was upfront for Blacklisted and Ignite, SYG and the other band I just watched from the back.

NewKindofArmy03 05-27-2006 09:32 AM

I liked Wisdom in Chains a lot, except the guitar was really low.
