I feel kind of stupid now, but still, that is such an awful play on words..

Hardcore is great but almost all the subgenres are terrible.

edit: except grindcore

grind and screamo are better than hardcore tbh

hardcore used to be awesome back when Black Flag, Minor Threat, Circle Jerks, Millions of Dead Cops, dead kennedys, bad brains and all those other bands were around. A lot of the stuff people call "hardcore" now sounds more like metal core than hardcore punk.
