Why, what time is it there? I've just risen, meaning to most people here it's lunchtime.

I got up at around half 11. I cant be bothered to do anything today

blizzard 12-18-2004 06:40 AM

I'm posting this here instead of making a new thread because i don't think it warrants a thread but....

Does any one know where i could buy Bartolini MK1 pickups and MK1 3 band EQ because i searched on the BArt site and it didn't have them and i searched on google and no where seems to sell them.

Jamie 12-18-2004 06:41 AM

www.warmoth.com ???

blizzard 12-18-2004 06:44 AM

i tried there but no one seems to sell them the only place i could get them is www.curbow.com, but its kind of silly because they are stock in Curbows, Cort JPS5, Ibanez SR500 and above and you can't buy replacements. I'm looking at going through either my local Cort dealer or my local Ibanez dealer seeing if they can order them in.

Jamie 12-18-2004 07:47 AM

Why don't you look at some other pickups? Barts arent the best in the world! (although you may just love the bart tone. Im a SD or EMG person  )

blizzard 12-18-2004 08:08 AM

THe thing is that there are no other piuckups (that i know of ) that have the same dimensions as MK1's

Muadip 12-18-2004 08:21 AM

What pickups would you guys reccommend for a Fender Standard Jazz...

I'm looking at the seymour duncan quarter pounders... and the dimarzio ultra jazz... and the Bartolini 9J#1 or whatever...

theNameless 12-18-2004 11:30 AM

HOLY F***!!!!!! I came in on this one way too late. But here goes. Hi, I'm relatively new to the bass scene and very new to MX. I'm an old fart (22 y.o.) who just picked up a bass a year ago. I don't have any career aspirations, never been to college, never want to unless it's music related. SO, sorry I'm not on much, but if anyone would like to talk, I'd be glad to!

ridethelightning 12-18-2004 11:37 AM
psh, tall people suck......... :D
