/me can cook well
both my mom and my stepdad are good cooks, so I've just learned from them over the years. Haha, that had to have been awkward...I am pretty good with dates, so remembering isn't a big problem for me. Laziness and procrastination would be, but not forgetting. What CDs?
Me too  My mom is a professional cook so I've picked up a few things luckily. I'm usually too lazy to implement them for myself though. Eh, a bit, but eh...that's me. I think all of the above apply to me, and that's the worst :-\ 30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie Motorhead - Ace of Spades The Clash - S/t Jake: Nice. |

Ah, well, I'm at least going to use them for my anniversary
Eh, a bit, but eh...that's me.
30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie Motorhead - Ace of Spades The Clash - S/t
Eh, I don't really like any of those...The Clash is okay, I guess. |
Hey Vince, do you know what the concept behind Leitmotif is? I'm not even sure if it is a concept album or not, but the way the songs are arranged, with the re-emerging riffs in different songs and such lead me to beleive that there is some kind of overall meaning or story.

Yeah, that would be pretty bad... Eh, I don't really like any of those...The Clash is okay, I guess.
Yeah, I still gotta figure out what to do about our "anniversary" (in quotes because it's not a year so...) seeing as it's gonna fall on Christmas Eve heh. I think we'll both be out of town too :-\ It's amazing I still am in school heh. I've had a few papers I've forgotten to do and such...luckily my teachers let me rectify the problem. Pft, they're all supposed to be great albums....if you like that style of music :p |

Yeah, I used to be pretty bad about getting stuff done, but my gf has done a good job of helping me get my ass in gear
Pft, they're all supposed to be great albums....if you like that style of music :p
Hey, do you like the Pixies? /me is just wondering np: Pixies - Gigantic |
That full length release would evolve into the concept album entitled Leitmotif ,which told the story of a man trying to cure himself of a moral disease and traveling through different cultures and continents to become more of a pure soul. The album was released independently in 1999 and later re-released by Interscope in 2001.
That's all I got.
Yeah, I used to be pretty bad about getting stuff done, but my gf has done a good job of helping me get my ass in gear  Hey, do you like the Pixies? /me is just wondering np: Pixies - Gigantic
Heh, Gaby just accepts my super laziness, which is good because I don't want to work :( Eh, I've only heard one song, which was ok...but nothing great. I'd probably give them a chance if the number of bands I'm already getting into wasn't miles long heh. |
Hey Ray, to awnser your question...no.
And I like the Pixies . Just woke up from a nap, I needed it after my tragedy last night. |
That would be even worse.
Sex should be left to the beautiful people. :p np: Pixies - Ceclia Ann
I think worse would be your ugly parents going at it. Luckily I haven't had this problem heh. Sex should be left to smart people, not pretty people. Either way I don't get in, but at least then we have lots of smart people and not a bunch of pretty, stupid people. |

Shut up, engineering student. You wouldn't be in that program if you weren't smart. |

Pft, engineering isn't for only smart people, I can't even count the number of morons I've met in my engineering classes. Either way though, I'm not smart, I just remember things. Smart is being able to apply knowledge, and I can't do that well. EDIT Ray: ? |

I've met my fair share of incredibly stupid people at my university as well. I should have tried getting into an Ivy League school, to "diversify" their student body. "Hey, man, what did you do in high school? I got a 5.8 GPA with a 36 on the ACT and a 1590 on the SAT." "Uh, I had a 3.8something unweighted GPA, and I didn't take the SAT." "Ugh, don't talk to me, you stupidhead." Of course, I would have had to take the SAT to apply there, heh. |
How about ugly people having sex a foot away from your face?
NP: Nico - These Days
Gah, ugly people being together in general is just disturbing. I can think of three couples at my school who could probably win The World's Ugliest Human Award. And they're always all over each other at school. Every day. All the time. :upset: There's this one guy who should have probably graduated some time in the 90's who always makes out with his "girl"friend in front of my history class. He probably weighs somewhere around 250, and he has a complete lack of personal hygene. I mean, we're talking perhaps a semi-annual shower here. :-/ Grotesque!
Shut up, engineering student. You wouldn't be in that program if you weren't smart.
My thoughts exactly. You didn't take the SAT? |

See, I am stupid :) |
When you say unwieghted, do you mean without factoring in your AP classes or something? I have a 3.6 right now, but I'm taking 2 AP classes this year. I think I have A's in both of them, so this would bring my wieghted grade up to a 4.0 or so, right?
|
ACT >>>> SAT The ACT is so easy.
|
I don't know what it means, my high school used unweighted GPAs :)
And no, I didn't take the SAT because: a) I didn't need to b) it wasn't required c) taking it wouldn't have helped me in any way, I did well on the ACT d) I didn't feel like it e) all of the above PS: grades in high school don't matter :p |

Yeah, unweighted doesn't factor in APs and such. Weighted I had a 4.0 I think. Big difference :-\ Grades are overrated though. |
I find oxygen to be overrated these days aswell.
I dont have a clue what my GPA is. I also dont have any colleges in mind besides USM. I need to get on the ball |

Hell I dont even know what I want to major in. Bah!
|
I went to school in MA, so it was practically impossible for me to take the ACTs. I did well on my SATs though, so s'all good.
I applied to six colleges :-\ none of them were Ivy league schools or even private schools, I think. |
I think I'm leaning towards something involving writing, or something in the english area...I've actually been considering education as a career, but I'm still too young, and I don't want to teach. My mom only gets like 30k a year, and she works at least 12 hours a day, which sucks. :-/
|
I got into all the schools I applied to, including the Engineering school at Cornell :p
Teaching blows unless it's at the uni level, and even then a bit. |
There's also always working on our farm. I'd probably inherit it in 20 years, but ugh, I hate living out here.

I'm thinking about staying fairly local, but not like right up the street local. NP: Jimi Hendrix - House Burning Down everyone blast Jimi tomorrow, it's the 35th anniversary of his death :upset: |
