black twilight circle is pretty good

maybe a little overrated, but most of the bands involved are cool

i heard about it from profound lore, it's pretty sweet i think

Wow, this Black Twilight Circle stuff really is good. At first I thought it was kind of cheesy, another on of those kvlt black metal groups. Liking Arizmenda.

didn't even know how pretentious the guys behind it were until recently. they wrote a book on black metal theory and how they are 'transcendent' black metal lol

yeah arizmenda is probably the best of the black twilight circle, the other bands are decent but not really memorable

yeah they're total fags, their drummer plays drums for dan deacon

their press release is specifically why i avoided actually reviewing it. it was all that stuff about how unique they are but the album is just some guy playing drum rolls the either time.

idk i enjoy the album, but i wasn't aware of all that hype and stuff

I'm not sure there is much hype outside of their own ridiculous claims.

Imo this is by far their best; a perfect combo of their black metal days and their more progressive material.

listening to nacht for the millionth time, still love it. nacht i is one of my favorite black metal songs ever

i love the ambient part and how it builds up to part with the guitars, and i love how right before the guitar part starts the keyboard stops and all you hear is wind and a wolfs howl, chilling yet soothing, and then CHAOS
