hey guys i rarely venture here but i need some major help. I have some virus thing on my msn and it consists of sending people files randomly that i don't even have on my computer and i have no control over it and sometimes i can only speak to certain people etc. I tried to make a thread on it but i couldn't get into it because my internet sometimes cuts out. So if there's anyone out there bored enough and brainy enough to think about my problem please help. My e-mail is in my profile if you need it.

1) i end up arguing
2) no one talks to me
3) it's **** anyway

The only thing I can think of for you to do is to completely un-install MSN and anything related.If you want it back get somebody else to download the installation file and send it to you.
I have no idea if that will do anything or not.

MSN Messenger did get Hacked, Firstly of all, Uninstall MSN, after writing down all your contact e-mails of course, then get a virus scanner, and scan all of your files in drive C:/ Also, if you are quite familliar with your computer, press CTRL Alt, Delete, and see if there are any programs running that you do not reconise, if you do, end task, search files or folders, search the thing you just ended task, delete it, then check its not running once again by pressing CTRL Alt, Delete, This should fix the problem, i once had an MSN virus under the name of CHOKE, i hope that helps, Then finally, Reinstall MSN, Good luck :thumb:

oh yeah could you copy and paste what you posted in my thin lizzy tab help thread because i can't get into any of my threads either. If anyone knows of where to get the solo for thin lizzy's thunder and lightning it would be much appreciated to.

thanks alot man thats great help man. How big is msn like in mb or gb? because i only have a 2GB memory pc.

Something along the lines of: There seems to be only one tab on the net, which every tab site is using. Powertabs and Guitar pro don't have anything either.

thanks much looks like i'll have to use audacity to slow it down and learn myself im useless at learning solos so i make them up then they turn out rubbish!

Powertab editor is a MIDI based program which pretty much plays songs.
Input the notes, then manipulate them (Length, virbrato etc...) and the program will play it for you.

Yes.
Download the software from [url=http://rhythm.harmony-central.com/~ftp/software/windows/guitar-bass/powertab.zip]here[/url] and then just fiddle around in it until you work it out.
You can also download powertabs to songs from [url=http://www.powertabs.net]here[/url] which other people have written.

You can get another thing along the same lines called Guitar Pro, which I prefer because it has a better interface and better features, but you have to pay for it. Unless you download it from a p2p program.

Also, check out guitar pro. You can tab out more instruments, including drums, and play it back.

i would love to come to R&M more but people seem to dispell things i want to discuss like thin lizzy or deep purple, some of the more underrated bands, because i've been through the thrash metal phase and i'm out of it.

thrash wasn't so much a phase for me, I mean i'm still very much into slayer, kreator early megadeth etc but i've now begun to appreciate a whole load of different genres of music and thrash seems to be taking a step to the side for the mo'. I need the new slayer album to come along so i can get into that again. Oh yeah thanks for the links guys but i can't get into them because of this virus, everytime i click on them the internet goes off. :(

I would love composing songs, I had to do it for concert band way back in high school when I still played trumpet (I mean, I still do, but I play it for fun now, as opposed to it being required)... but which one is best, Guitar Pro or Powertab?

Guitar Pro, definetely. Powertab will export the tab into a full guitar tab that you can post on sites, with notes and everything, but Guitar Pro just has an overall better sound, plus you can find more files for it.
