Emocore isn't a genre...

Metalcore is stuff like Unearth...it's really riffy and has "jug jug" breakdowns.

Hardcore is stuff like...well...there's a crapload of different types of hardcore like Killing the Dream, Champion, Ensign, Outbreak, Ignite, Blacklisted, etc.

Emo is emotional hardcore...stuff like The Khayembii Communique, Rockets and Blue Lights, Saetia, On the Might of Princes, etc.

There are too many "core" genres.

Metalcore, Hardcore, Grindcore...those are the only 3 anyone takes seriously.

Emocore...Spazzcore...the rest are all dumb and redundant. Saying "emo hardcore" is like saying "hardcorecore."
