tbh I reckon they're a better grindy punk band (i.e. FOAD) than they were a black metal band. I will say though that they had better atmospherics over their peers, excluding Burzum.

IHD is one of my favorite emo bands ever, and A Year and An Ocean and The Death of an Aspiring Icon are two of the best emo songs ever.
