How do you like Enlightened Rogues...actually you probably haven't had a chance to listen to it yet...it's a pretty good album. Tell me how you like "Pegasus" I think its an underrated song.

Yeah I've actually never heard the album before. I'll remember to tell you what I thought of it. Remind me if I forget.

I think I'm most excited to listen to Fragile, since I've heard a lot of Yes songs, but never an album.

drugstore cowboy 05-29-2005 06:44 PM

thickasabrick, you picked up, man. That's a fine load. Crime of the Century is an awesome album. It's like a short "The Wall", and I like it better. Nice haul, man.

edit: just noticed Chilliwack at the bottom. Kudos, it should be good.

BludgeonySteve 05-29-2005 06:44 PM

There are three great songs on it, Roundabout, Heart of the Sunrise and Southside of the sky. Mood for a day is a great acoustic song and the rest of it is amusingly weird and very short songs. Enjoy.

You like The Who. I like The Who.

Yeah I've already got Crime of the Century on vinyl, but I couldn't turn down another one. There were actually a lot of albums that I wouldn't have minded getting, but money was a factor.

I'm mostly just pleased with the fact that I got 31 albums for the same cost that I'd usually pay for like 2-5 CDs.

Haven't seen you around in a while, what could you possibly be doing that's more important than discussing music with us?

Same with me.

Thickasabrick, I also picked up Moving Pictures yesterday along with Wheels of Fire, Live at Leeds, Doors s/t(now only one album away from complete studio album Doors) and Buffalo Springfield s/t. I also got the Syd Barret Story on DVD.

lunch998 05-29-2005 07:36 PM

All those are great, although I haven't seen the Syd Barrett Story. Tell me how it is.

Yeah I've heard The doors s/t before but I haven't seen it for the right price before. I've alos heard Live at Leeds because my dad has it on viynl except one of the disks is missing. Then I've heard selected things off Moving Pictures, Wheels of Fire and Buffalo Springfield. I've already listened to Buffalo Springfield, Wheels of Fire disc 1 and Moving Pictures. I've also seen the Syd Barret Story at my cousins a few months ago but I can't remember all of it but it came with a 2 for $25 deal with the Doors s/t.

lunch998 05-29-2005 07:49 PM

What version of Live at Leeds did you get?

Also, the Spoonful on Wheels of Fire Disc II is amazing.
What Who movie?
I heard about it on the news, Pete and Roger are making a movie about the Who or something. Its gonna come on in 2006 apparently.

I think I got the standard Live at Leeds. The album my dad has came with all these papers and a poster and stuff, it's pretty cool.

lunch998 05-29-2005 07:58 PM

Wow, really? Can't believe I didn't hear about this. I'm excited now.

What exactly is this movie about?

lunch998 05-29-2005 08:00 PM

I just read an article saying it's a documentary, and both Townshend and Daltrey are going to use some of their own footage with it. Don't really know anything else.

Is it just going to come out on video or will it be out at theaters because that would be sweet.

I don't know, it's Livewired's.

Not sure, it would be cool if it came out in theaters though.

Yeah I've got that Live at Leeds. I stuck the poster on my wall

I haven't heard anything about this new Who movie coming out, I hope it's worthwhile. I've also never heard Smile, although I think it's the next CD I will buy.

Schyma...do you still have the link to that book that is on Erowid? I went to read it and I couldn't find it and I searched all over Erowid.

Canadian-Guy 05-29-2005 09:32 PM

I read about that Who movie today.
