Seattle is so ill prepared for snow because we don't get it very often, doesn't help that the entire city is built on a hill and most people don't have powerful enough vehicles to drive in snowy conditions.

We don't have as many snowploughs as we should and a lot of the buses can't operate well even with tire chains because some of the roads are so steep and strangely shaped around here.

Seattle doesn't get a lot of snow every year, there's usually like a spell of heavy snow for a week once every couple of years and then just like random powdering that doesn't add up to much, yeah we're usually ill prepared but wtf do you want me to do about it?
